Thank you all for the post of the year votes.  That window of time wherein I was bursting at the seams to wax lyrical about All In but the forum wouldn’t wake up was a difficult one for me. This award makes it all worthwhile. Thanks to my CFF for going with me to Wembley, Danielson for being the greatest and Devon Malcolm for ghost writing all of my AEW reviews because he doesn’t want everyone to know he’s a Khan Ultra. Also how about Will Smith’s wife being all bald and that? GI Jane amirite?

A great bunch of winners, very much deserved - it wasn’t easy to pick between the nominees this year, which is a huge testament to how brilliant everyone is on this forum.

I’m absolutely delighted to see @gmoney get recognition. Just a brilliant poster, who adds so much value to the forum.

@Onyx2 is a very deserving winner of the Good Augene prize. He’s a brilliant person and poster. I was delighted to see @deathrey pick up as many votes in this category, it was very much deserved. He didn’t get nominated, but I’ll again give @Hannibal Scorch a shout-out for this particular category and @TildeGuy~!, who has quietly been a fantastic person in the off-topic forum.

@Devon Malcolm has had a great year, as has @FLips, who continues to be one of my favourite gaming writers ever. I don’t think he’d ever made a duff post, he’s just outstanding.

Congrats to @Supremo too for a much-deserved double. @air_raid also deserves a mention as far as on topic goes, although he doesn’t need a shout out from me, as his house show posts got a much deserved shout out on the Wrestle Me podcast last week.

I’m aware that I’m tagging people left right and centre, so I might as well tag @JLM while I’m at it, who seriously deserved the prize for best post. For me it was an all-encompassing vote, crediting him for every single review from 2024. I said it before, but I’d buy a book of his show reviews, if it existed. They’re absolutely brilliant. 

A huge thanks to @HarmonicGenerator and @Frankie Crisp for their hard work on this, and it’s also worth saying that either of them would have been worthy winners for a number of these categories. They’re both brilliant people.

EDIT: I know I’ve forgotten a whole host of people, but shamefully I forgot to mention @Dr. Alan Grant - one of the nicest people on the forum, and a definite good augene in my book!

Thanks very much forum. And such an honour to win something named after one of our (sadly missed) own. And what a cohort I was in this year. Champs all. 

I occasionally take time away from the board but it's always nice to come back... Somewhere I have been visiting for nearly 24 years
