Jacob Fatu would be 1990 Undertaker levels of terrifying x 10 if I were still a nipper. What an absolute star this man looks.

The cracking little promo before walking out and the abosolute menacing presence bordering on legit scaryness. All whilst drooling all over the gaff.

Eating good lads.

Getting ahead here, but Breakker / Fatu down tha stretch is gonna be some terrific business.

EDIT - Kevin Owens should be awarded Dibiase's Million dollar belt too - the second nicest title behind the Winged Eagle, confirmed.  Deserved champion as he is.

Seeing tweets going “NO WAY!!! Jesse Ventura said Bron Breakker’s a Steiner so to him 2+2 =5” as if it’s some crazy out of the blue personal sting or a reference to the Scott Steiner maths promo in TNA. Makes me realise how old I am because Jesse ripping the Steiners for being thick was a weekly occurrence in WCW in 1992 and I think this was just him taking the opportunity to do it again. He was forever having a pop at their lack of education and Rick wearing odd boots back then.

The HBK/Cody/KO segment wasn't bad, but you sort of know there's nowhere they can go from this or build on it. At best, it just layers a grievance onto KO's existing pile of grievances. As I was watching it I was fantasy booking in my head, thinking if HBK turned on Cody we could have a fun few months of HBK as a sort of heel sidekick of KO (don't really know the motivation for that... sympathy with KO, not wanting to see another talented wrestler lose their smile because the office is against them? Dunno. Not my job. Fuck off.). It could have lead to KO winning the title and eventually Sami Zayn bringing in Bret as a counterweight.

KO w/ HBK vs Sami w/ Bret for the title, with Sami winning and celebrating with pink confetti and Bret, could headline both nights of Wrestlemania.

Alas.

When HBKs hat got knocked off, I couldn't tell if he was pissed off at being dragged into the scrap or that everyone could see he needs a comb over.

Kevin Owens is the very, very best at absolutely everything.

Except when he was champ, I remember alot on here saying that he doesn’t have the “look” of a champion, didn’t dress like one etc. Strange how things go full circle.

The booking of big men in WWE has been decent lately. Feats of strength, bombastic spots and cartoony violence. Keep it short and don’t over expose. Two big boys slapping meat and not dragging their arses around in doing so will always be a winner.

I loved Jesse on this. He sticks out like a sore thumb and the rapist would have steam coming out his ears if he was still around but it’s both refreshing and nostalgic to hear the mad old bastard go on in such a non WWE fashion. Pat Mcafee trying to keep him in tack is also quite funny.

Account created over 4 years after Owens last held the Universal belt.

Who are you?

Biased commentators. High ranking officials Superkicking him. UKFF posters returning to slag him off.

The conspiracy against Kevin Owens runs deep, but that all ends on Saturday. It’s coming home.

Well I thought that was a brilliant show. Top to bottom I think that was my favourite wrestling show for ages. Enjoyed everything they did and thought it almost all landed. If I had one criticism it's that they've gone too much the other way with title changes and they're too reluctant to do them. Crowd were fantastic, though, much better than at the last SNME.

I'm sure @wandshogun09 would have noted that Dibiase's wife must have been delighted that WWE persuaded him out of his Adidas trackie bottoms so she could finally wash the surely ponging things ahead of church on Sunday.

Ventura's still got it though. He's obviously not as quick as he used to be but he's clearly taking it seriously and not wanting to sound out of touch, really love his segments with Joe Tessetore, who has fully won me round now.

Ripley vs Jax was a cracking start. Jax managed to not break every bone in Ripley's body or botch anything and it was just a nice, stiff fight and exactly the strong start to her reign that Ripley needed. She looked brilliant out there, an absolute star.

Did you know that Bron Breakker hits the ropes at 23mph? I think somebody needs to get the speedgun on him, I reckon he was around 22mph here. This was proper wrestling, just battered each other. I'd have given Sheamus the belt here, give Breakker a strong Rumble showing. Or they're going to cash in on that little Jacob Fatu / Breakker interaction from a couple of months ago and have them go out at it at Wrestlemania. That spear on the outside was fantastic. Loved this. Ventura questioning the refereeing is still one of my favourite things in wrestling.

Lovely to see Dory Funk there and I bet he loved Owens' t-shirt. This was a really good segment and Michaels still hits a quality superkick. He's not doing a match though because otherwise he leaves Ava unchecked to run NXT and nobody wants that.

A star is fucking born. They don't do the DQ much these days and this is why it should be used sparingly. The crowd were actually quiet at the start of this but by the end they were the biggest Jacob Fatu fans in the world. Just a thrilling twatting that won everyone over and it was on national TV too. Perfect wrestling booking. His promos are superb too. He's got the lot. This is impossible to fuck up, surely. I LOVE YOU JACOB.

And I really enjoyed the main event, too. It was really well paced and the end run could have gone either way. Really liked the post-match reaction by Gunther as well. Just good work all round.

Had a great time. 7 stars. No Rollins. Splendid.
