He made sweet music with big guys like Diesel and Bam Bam but also fantastic matches with guys that were nearer his size like Bret, Owen and Shawn. You could put him in there with any shape guy in singles or a tag and you knew you’d get a winner. There’s dozens of forgotten excellent matches from TV with Doink, Marty, Hakushi and others and tag crackers with Marty, Bobcore and Razor. There’s a reason that anecdote of Dean Douglas endures - can’t work with Kid, can’t work. Quote

The Hart Foundation were peak popularity between WM6 and SummerSlam 90 but The Rockers were peak workers between Mania 6 and Mania 7. They're their usual bundles of energy here but it's the 3 man version of Demolition, with Smash and Crush working, and they're not as good. With no commentary track, you can hear just how fucking goofy Smash is and Crush is a bit clunky. Demolition have their good theme song too. Quote

I think it's one of Crush's very first proper matches in that gimmick too. The finish is the same as the July SNME match so it's got the feeling of a dry run. Quote

The camera angle is quite interesting for the entrances but I couldn't get on with it once the match started. I need to have a flick through to see if it picks up but the crowd was very sparse for the opening match. History of WWE reckon about 13,000 which isn't far off the sell out number of 14,500 they got in May. Interestingly, both are biggerthan a Raw they had there in July which was apparently 12,019 but announced as a sell out of over 18,000. Never change, do they? Quote
