As if Tony would give up the opportunity to announce an announcement and then later make that announcement.

Card looks interesting, coaches and hostel are booked. I'm pretty excited, and I get to spend the day with one of my bestest oldest friends. What's not to enjoy? I'm kicking myself over not heading down in the morning so I could see Justice at Field Day as well, but that would have probably been a bit too much, both financially and in terms of social batteries.

Clink hostel?

That's the one. Great price and a really good location as well. I stayed there last year as well.

Oh wow, I had dismissed it as a photoshop for sure. Yeah I’d have preferred a regular PPV. Also if they do TV tapings they’ll be less appealing too as Forbidden Door season TV episodes are not the one.

That said, Takeshita vs Any of his G1 opponents after what he did in that tournament is an exciting prospect. Also if they bring Jeff Cobb I’ll be front row squealing my little heart out.

I'm starting to feel very excited for Sunday, so here's my brief personal rundown of the card:

Willow/Ishii vs Statlander/Stokeley - this is going to be fun. I love (and am in love with) Willow so while I wish she was getting a big, featured singles I think this is probably the next best thing. Ishii is going to forearm smash and suplex Stokeley into the shadow realm and it will be hilarious.

Trios ladder fuckfest - I am bored beyond all imagination by ladder matches in this day and age. However I've never seen one of these big stunt clusterfucks live and I imagine it's going to be pretty cool. If I was just watching on TV I wouldn't be remotely interested. Hearing the Bang Bang Gang's theme on the big Wembley sound system will have me bopping big time.

Mercedes vs Britt Baker - I'm pretty sure this is going to be the worst match on the show. Baker is terrible and Mercedes isn't the type of worker who can get chicken salad out of chicken shit.

Jericho vs Hook - not sure if this or Baker/Mercedes will be my piss break match. I haven't enjoyed any of their previous bouts and don't care about either man at all right now. My guess is Taz ends up choking out Bryan Keith at some point.

FTR/Bucks/Acclaimed - I'm sure this will be very good but I don't have much interest going in. Acclaimed have been boring for over a year now and the Bucks vs AEW storyline kind of petered out and went nowhere. I still love FTR so hopefully they win and they can start rebuilding this tag division again.

Darby vs Perry - with two of the most creative and insane wrestlers in the business in this one I am genuinely terrified about what they might do here. They had a singles match during the pandemic era which was fantastic. This one will no doubt be better. We're going to see some high school theatrics for entrances and some crazy shit. Can't wait!

Casino Gauntlet - think I'm most excited for this overall. There's some great story stuff going in (Hangman, Orange Cassidy, Jeff Jarrett) and it'll no doubt be combined with a load of top notch action, fun characters and surprises (Richochet? Mox?). Almost guaranteed to be a good time.

MJF vs Ospreay - the storyline going in has been a bit of a mess with some awful promos from MJF but on the night the atmosphere will be electric and these two have excellent in-ring chemistry.

Toni Storm vs Mariah May - after one of the best angles of all time this story lost a bit of steam but I'm hoping on the night they pull out something special. They really need to! I'm expecting (and hoping for) an absolute bloodbath.

Swerve Strickland vs Bryan Danielson - a few months ago I wouldn't have been hugely excited if you told me this was the main event for All In but they've done a tremendous job and I am buzzing my tits off for this. The greatest wrestler of all time in a stadium main event for the last time ever. An unstoppable World Champion. We are guaranteed either a new Champion or the end of a career. It doesn't get much bigger or better than this. I'm expecting an all time classic. Let's fucking go!

I'd have preferred a main show in 2025, I find New Japan a bit dull these days. I'm sure it will sell out at the O2 though and tv tapings would get pretty solid attendances, with sell outs or close to.

For Sunday's show, I held back and thought I might go, I've decided to just take my son away for a couple of days instead. It looks decent though, with the Casino Gauntlet and main event looking strong.

I'm there for the Gauntlet and Bryan/Swerve. I'm sure there will be other good stuff, but I'm not excited for the whole show and the novelty as I was last year, I'm there because I've never seen Bryan Danielson wrestle live.

I am half-expecting Jack Perry (possibly with help from other members of The Elite) opening a coffin ready to put Darby in it, and Sting being in the coffin to fight them off. I'll almost be disappointed if they don't do that. They're probably also going to set fire to a coffin with a man in it.

Amazing. One of those ideas that’s so good it’ll now be a huge disappointment if it doesn’t happen. Imagine the pop!

Speaking of surprises, I’m not expecting Becky Lynch, but if she was to debut, it’d be here, wouldn’t it?

Naturally I'd say yes.

Question is does she go after Mone/Britt or May/Storm when both belts seem to be of the same importance these days.

Toni Storm vs Mariah May - after one of the best angles of all time....each to their own and all that but wow, what a bold statement!!! Good angle for sure.

The crowd and stadium will make what is another solid if not spectacular ppv. Can't wait to watch. Hope those going have a ball.

Managed to get a last minute ticket.

Question is, it’s one of them tickets that was given out to blue light holders. Will I be asked to prove I am a blue light card holder upon entry, or simply slip on by, scan my QR code with the rest of you legends?
