This might be old news, but if you go to Categories and then all the way down to the bottom you'll find WWE has its own section, rather than just searching for things. Quote

Yeah it's a weird mixture. You'll get different stuff popping up in the WWE section and if you search WWE. Things are more in order if you search for them individually and go to them e.g the historic PPVs when you go into each one. While if you see them on the category they're ordered quite randomly. westlondonmist Posted January 4, 2025 Posted January 4, 2025 I watched some of the wrestling classic from 85, feel a bit dirty. Quote
Members SuperBacon Posted January 4, 2025 Members Posted January 4, 2025 Stuck SummerSlam 02 on and am confused. I thought for Benoit matches they didn't commentate over them or mention his name or something. Have I made that up? Cracking PPV. Quote

No it's just on the show listings and timestamps, his name was removed so you couldn't do a search for him on stuff. Quote

Have I made that up? That’s what they used to do on dvds. Well some of them. I remember the Elimination Chamber compilation dvd, they didn’t commentate whenever he was involved in something. But since the start of the network, it’s been as it was. Quote

AHH never bought the DVD's in years so that's information to me. Bit like when they used to cut out all of Jesse Ventura's comms to not pay him any money. Quote

You could just about see him in the background. A fast moving match like that is easy. But the Elimination Chamber was a tad more difficult. And obviously, they are fucked with regards to the 2004 rumble. Quote
davertfnewman Posted January 4, 2025 Posted January 4, 2025 What's the feeling on Over the Edge '99 being on there? Zipped through it to see if it was actually for real. Listening to the crowd in one of the matches, they had obviously lost their appetite and would've gone home without argument, despite Vince's claims that they would've rioted. Only really lingered on the elimination match between the Union ("Union!") and the Corporate Ministry, with Lawler getting in a dig at Bradshaw getting his ass kicked at the airport by Steve Blackman. Yeah that one I am a bit unsure about. I have the original event on VCR from when I recorded it originally and haven't watched it since around the time it happened. I guess if you have never seen it you might want to check it out but it just doesn't feel right (for me) to watch it somehow. Quote
Chili Posted January 4, 2025 Posted January 4, 2025 Honestly with the tribute graphic at the start and all other references removed I can't really complain about it, but then I also wouldn't watch it because it's a bit awkward and tragic death taken out, the card was still fucking shit. Quote
CDM Posted January 4, 2025 Posted January 4, 2025 (edited) I can finally watch Hart v Austin now every wrestlemania is on netflix . That match and hogan v andre(although I have heard the match wasn't that good it is iconic) and omega v okada 4 are 3 matches I really want to watch at some point Edited January 4, 2025 by CDM Quote

Paid Members Your Fight Site Posted January 4, 2025 Paid Members Posted January 4, 2025 I don’t really understand why we’re discussing it as if it’s a new decision? Over The Edge ‘99 was available on the WWE Network as well. I remember because I made the point of it after WWE’s “every PPV ever” tagline when the Network originally launched years ago. Quote
