She's come across really poorly in the last two episodes. Weirdly, though, it’s kind of working for her in the sense that people are terrified to bring her name up at the round table. If she was a traitor, she’d be sailing through to the end. This must have been the most ineffective selection of traitors to date, though. Armani and Linda was a disaster, Minah seems lovely, but she’s contributing very little at the round tables, to the point that it’s very noticeable. Her decisions as a traitor have generally been bad, and it’s her quietness and apparent popularity that has taken her to where she is. I also wonder if she’s explained to Charlotte why she voted for both Linda and Armani, and they’ve just not shown it. It seems like such an obvious thing to do, if you’re to win Charlotte’s trust. She’s also not brought up her voting record at the round table when pressure was on her - she’s voted for every traitor so far, while not everyone else has. I’d be surprised if she reached the final. What an odious boring little twat he is. Leanne seems like one of those people who thinks of themselves as strong but gets upset and throws a strop and aggressive tantrum at the smallest thing and thinks that's strength. Any time any slight suspicion goes her way she is instantly on the verge of a complete meltdown. Quote
DavidB6937 Posted January 20, 2025 Posted January 20, 2025 Can't say much other than I still love it and it's turned out to be another great mix of insanely paranoid people. They all fall apart in the end and it's wonderful. Quote
thevestofdeanambrose Posted January 22, 2025 Posted January 22, 2025 What an episode that was! Surely Charlotte wraps this up from here. Get Freddie in, murder Fran, eliminate Leanne then throw Freddie to the wolves and take the cash. Quote
Paid Members FLips Posted January 22, 2025 Paid Members Posted January 22, 2025 I predicted the “murder Leanne to frame Alexander and Freddie” move but would never have suspected she’d recruit Freddie first just to frame him with it. Absolute devious behaviour. Love that Leanne simply can’t get over that one time Alexander dared accuse her. She still brings it up constantly and is still voting for him. Egotistical mentalist. thevestofdeanambrose Posted January 22, 2025 Posted January 22, 2025 I completely missed Charlotte framing the boys with the Leanne murder at the end! An even better plan than the one above haha! She has nailed it. Leanne has every trait I hate in a human. Can't wait to see her face when she doesn't win the cash. Quote
Liam O'Rourke Posted January 22, 2025 Posted January 22, 2025 (edited) I might be wrong, but that play from Charlotte could backfire huge. Leanne is going to mouth off about who she told in front of everybody, and Freddie is going to find out Charlotte's plan before the time the pain au chocolat are gone and have a chance to counter. Slapnut Posted January 22, 2025 Posted January 22, 2025 To be honest I’m not sure Freddie is capable of figuring that out, bless him. Even if he does, he’s got too much heat on him and I don’t think he’ll be capable of swaying enough people’s opinions against Charlotte. I think she’s got it in the bag now. Long live our Welsh Queen! Quote
Paid Members stumobir Posted January 22, 2025 Paid Members Posted January 22, 2025 (edited) Bold but very worthwhile gamble by Charlotte there. Completely mental that Leanne revealed she had a Shield in the first place. It’s going to be so satisfying to watch her hubris used against her, as she’s utterly convinced her plan has worked exactly as she intended rather than it being the play that handed a Traitor the win. I’m totally with you - I think it’s a terrible plan, made worse by the fact it’s unnecessary. Freddie might realise what’s going on, and campaign hard against Charlotte to the point it’ll be obvious she’s a traitor. It was an either-or situation really. Recruit Freddie and don’t target Leanne - then screw him over on the final day, if you’re going to. Or, recruit someone else then target Leanne to frame both Freddie and Alexander. When one was revealed as a Faithful in the final round-table, they’d deduce the second must be the remaining traitor. And even if it works, what’s the benefit of Freddie going tonight as a Traitor? Would the others really buy that they’d go into the final day with no Traitors at all? Edited January 23, 2025 by RedTwoster Quote

Paid Members LaGoosh Posted January 23, 2025 Paid Members Posted January 23, 2025 Leanne seems to hate Alexander because he called her out just that once so I imagine she'll go all in on accusing him of being a traitor after this. Freddie is an absolute melt and if he realises Charlotte's plan I don't see how he can use it against her without it looking weird to everyone else. I really want Charlotte to win though because I hate Freddie and Leanne. Quote

I think so too - but since she’s encouraged him to off Leanne, he will definitively know he’s been set-up. As soon as she said that, she lost any deniability. That leaves her extremely vulnerable to him Kieraning her. If she’d recruited him, killed as normal, and let the cards fall wherever they did tonight, she’d be fine. They’re swithering between Freddie and Alexander anyway, so you don’t even need to do much if you’re Charlotte, other than plant the seed of Freddie’s attack on Minah being traitor-on-traitor. It’s an unnecessary gamble, no one even suspects her and this might change that. Quote
Paid Members Chris B Posted January 23, 2025 Paid Members Posted January 23, 2025 I reckon the trick will be for Charlotte to encourage the others to not mention it until the roundtable, so Freddie doesn't have time to plan much of a response. It's a gamble, but it's also the most dramatic thing she could do, so absolutely fair play for that. It's making for much more interesting TV. And the more evil Charlotte gets, the more I fancy her. I clearly need therapy. Quote
wordsfromlee Posted January 23, 2025 Posted January 23, 2025 Does Leanne only wear that bright pink power suit for her interviews? Quote
