Oh totally. It’s a flawed format in that there’s really no benefit to catching Traitors until the very end, given that they can be replaced. But in spite of that, it’s still a load of fun to watch, and genuinely gripping at times.

Oh yeah I love the fact we're in on it the whole time. Makes it absolutely fascinating watching it all unfold because it's crazy frustrating at times or just so fun knowing how close they are. It's a really unique view on a format like this where it's part reality part gameshow really.

It's why I love stuff like Survivor (even though it's failed miserably here) - you get just enough as a viewer to make you feel like you know it all, but the edit still manages to throw up surprises because it's often never quite what it seems. And I love those surprises.

Funnily enough my wife and I have been contemplating watching the US version of Survivor and Big Brother based entirely on the contestants who have appeared on The Traitors US. I’m particularly intrigued by their Big Brother, as they make it sound pretty different from our version by describing it as ‘a game of strategy’, something you certainly wouldn’t apply to Big Brother UK.

I've watched Survivor US for a good 20 years or so now I think. So its been a real treat for me to see some of the players on Traitors US even if my wife doesn't have a clue. Boston Rob is up there with my top reality Gods.

I never bothered with Big Brother US but yeah I've become curious with some of the things the contestants have said on this. It definitely sounds like a much different beast over there.

Ah me with the double post but it's been long enough.

Enjoyed Traitors US final. Pretty satisfying overall I thought. Edited well enough that you thought it could go one way or the other and definitely had my anxiety going.

It was all in the editing really. Like I said last week, I think they knew exactly who the traitors were for a while and just didn’t want to banish them to avoid new people getting recruited.

when you consider how many people they agreed to end the game with, you know they must have been pretty darn confident with who the traitors were for a while.

Britney was kind of Wilfed at the end, I thought. They need to take steps to stop traitors ratting one another out in a final act of bitterness. I enjoyed the finale on the whole, but things like that tick me off.

Yeah they put a lot of effort into the editing to try and keep that one interesting. How they were trying to build the false-narrative that people might vote for Dylan etc…that was never going to happen

See I think anything is possible. The fact that anyone realistically could be a a Traitor means it just depends how psyched out they get by others and how swayed they get by their own paranoia. That's what I like about it. They could easily switch and get caught up in doubt and make stupid mistakes.

Wait why did I just find out Dylan is Zac Efron's brother. How did i miss that.

Bob the Drag Queen at one point at the round table rebutted a comment Dylan made about having an actor as a brother with ‘yeah, not a very good one’ when he tried to use it as a reason for being good at sniffing out performances. But I’m not certain they actually specified who his brother was on screen (perhaps they did and I forgot) - my wife kept reminding me throughout, yet I kept forgetting.

I'm surprised my wife didn't mention it as she's a big Zac fan but maybe she doesn't know either! It did feel like something i was surprised I missed if they did mention it.

My wife and I have just been to the Traitors Live Experience in Covent Garden and, quite honestly, I’m fucking raging.

I knew going in that it would be an authentic experience and players would be killed and banished, but at £50 per person I expected to have some sort of involvement for the entire two hours. What actually happened is that my wife was killed first, 15 minutes into the game, and then I was the first banished at the roundtable 5 minutes later.

After you’re voted off the game, you literally just go and sit in another room and watch the rest of the game unfold on TV. There were two opportunities to still get involved in the game where you could give the remaining players clues to the games, but they were over and done with within seconds.

This was a birthday present for my wife and she’s been really excited for months, but she didn’t even get to take part in a single roundtable which is easily the most anticipated part of the game.

Fucking joke to be honest. I’m not a sore loser, I don’t care that I was the first one banished, but I’m unbelievably annoyed that it was so soon into the game and there was virtually fuck all afterwards.

I’m not watching the next series. Fuck ‘em.
