That truly was the greatest series of the show so far what a phenomenal rollercoaster it was.....this final was absolute perfection in terms of a final of a reality TV show that gave you so many twists and turns you did not think we're possible. Id have put money on Alan Carr being the first caught and he fucking won it and turned nick against his closest friend in the entire run because of the explanation and way he twisted it just perfection!!! It's nice to see everyone else enjoyed it just as much the celebrity traitors is a must stay!! Quote
Briefcase Posted November 7, 2025 Posted November 7, 2025 I am usually a bit skeptical about celeb shows, but they pulled this one off really well. Love the Traitors and the Canadian version which started a few weeks ago has to be up there with one of the best starts of any Traitor series. Without saying too much its like they've turned the game on its head to stop those who think they know the show from predicting what happens. It's on Daily Motion and all the usual places if anyone wants their Traitors fix. Quote

Although the jury was out on David when he put the genius tag on Stephen Fry. He just reads stuff and remembers things mate. The fact Joe was spot on and he did a fairly decent job of getting people on side should be commended, they never listen to the big lugs. Quote
Paid Members Jazzy G Posted November 7, 2025 Paid Members Posted November 7, 2025 It was incredible, but just seeing Alan Carr break with the guilt at the end and Nick & David comforting him was beautiful. It shows the bonds that can be made in shows like this. He played the whole game masterfully. This emotional high is possibly matched only by the ending of the first season of the Australian one where you can see that poor guy just die inside as soon as Olivia says "I'm so sorry, but..." I may hunt the Canadian one down. The American one was ridiculous, but Alan Cummings devouring the entire castle with his hammy performance made it bearable. Quote

Think theres a couple that haven't been on iPlayer yet though. Cant say much apart from it was another enjoyable series with probably my favourite recruitment reveal, and once again a bunch of people who get in their own heads. The format absolutely fucks with everyone and it consistently makes for great TV. Quote

Wideload90 Posted January 2 Posted January 2 Series 4 started last night and it's good to get back to hating on people even though we don't really know anything about them. So many try-hards and wannabe sleuths out there. I love it. The twist to this series is equal parts disappointing and intriguing as the audience now plays the game in not trusting anyone and keeps guessing on everyone. The only major gripe - people who sign up to the game acting surprised when Claudia appears. "Omg it's Claudia!" No shit. Can't wait for this to unravel. Quote

It's actually really fucking difficult for anything to ruin the format because it's so good. Doesn't matter who you put in there. They all fall into the same paranoia and it's wonderful to watch it all unravel. I don't think the twist is big enough to have any massive negative impact on the series and gives just enough additional intrigue to make it worth trying. Quote

I can see why people are questioning the twist, and if I became a traitor I would be pissed to have power taken away from me. That being said, it doesn't take away as a viewer and only adds to the intrigue. I love that every time someone thinks they know what is going to happen, they change it up. Oh, and another parent/child pairing? Not for me... The whole "omg I l know you" is also weird. Hopefully there's a decent payoff from it. Quote

I can see how they probably want some family drama created at some point which is fair enough, and probably why they just announced it pretty fast as it's not really a shock anymore. I was definitely more intrigued by those other two knowing each other. I find it very hard to believe that's just a coincidence. Quote

It allows everyone to ‘play like Faithfuls’ making the actual Traitors harder to detect. Having said that, they’ll have to reveal who it is sooner rather than later. With the shortlists, their identity will become pretty obvious through process of elimination, although if I were them, I’d try to shortlist more or less the same people over and over to keep the ruse going.
