Members SuperBacon
Portishead Live in New York One of my favourite live albums, and showcases just what a great band they are, and what a wonderful vocalist Orton is. Links to a playlist which is the full gig.

Paid Members Bellenda Carlisle Posted December 10, 2023 Author Paid Members Share Posted December 10, 2023 Belinda at her peak, looking incredible, playing to a massive crowd and throwing out... Seen her loads of times but will die happy if i can see her with the Go-Go"s after two occasions of having tickets to see them on two different continents a decade apart and them both being cancelled. Video isn't amazing quality but I've watched it loads of tiimes so it's good enough
Paid Members Jazzy G Posted December 17, 2023 Paid Members Share Posted December 17, 2023 Roxy Music at Hammersmith Apollo, 2001. As close to the original lineup as they could get, although Brian Eno was replaced by two not bad looking ladies working the synths (insert knob twiddling joke here). A guy I lived with when I lived in Barnsley owned this on DVD, and we'd watch it almost weekly at times. Heck of a performance. Â
Paid Members Jazzy G Posted December 20, 2023 Paid Members Share Posted December 20, 2023 I don't know whether this counts, but here's the "live event" from when the Foo Fighters unveiled Josh Freese as their new drummer back in May.
Paid Members Gus Mears Posted December 20, 2023 Paid Members Share Posted December 20, 2023 (edited) Bee Gees live in Las Vegas from 1997. It's great and it's shit. Robin Gibb's atrocious hair. Barry singing the breathiest version of Tragedy ever. Maurice dressed as the Manx Undertaker. Still really enjoyable though. Merzbow
The most Merzbow choice ever here, (Don't Call Them) Boris and Merzbow together in the Boiler Room. Â
King Coconut
Crammed with bangers and a stellar performance from everyone here. Extra points for commissioner Foley on the congos. Â Â
The Gaffer
The best Boiler Room: Â Absolutely perfect recording of the Radiohead vibe smack bang in the middle of Kid A's release: Â Banger after banger after banger after banger in front of a great festival audience: Â
Paid Members Bellenda Carlisle Posted December 21, 2023 Author Paid Members Share Posted December 21, 2023 (edited) This wild 80s Bowie gig being posted on here ages ago was one of the things that made me start watching loads of varied gigs on YouTube. Great Christmas family entertainment, watched it on Christmas eve a few years ago. RIDDUM_N_STYLE
The Jacksons reunion at the MJ anniversary show, breezing through some of their big hits in quick succession, including a duet with NSync on Dancin Machine and Michael making I’ll Be There (my favourite J5 song) sound even better with his deeper vocal

Paid Members Bellenda Carlisle Posted December 22, 2023 Author Paid Members Share Posted December 22, 2023 Sabrina Live in Russia 1989 The sexiest woman ever in the least sexy place ever. This whole thing is awesomely bizarre and I love the editing with visuals of her checking out russia and assorted costume changes, closeups and 80s interstitials to make it more fun. Paid Members FLips Posted December 22, 2023 Paid Members Share Posted December 22, 2023 The whole show is sublime but the pure joy the whole band has watching the keyboard solo at 47:30 almost single handedly made me a fan of the entire genre of Japanese Fusion Jazz. Paid Members Dead Mike Posted December 23, 2023 Paid Members Share Posted December 23, 2023 This is my favourite concert to put on in the background. The entire 'revival tour' show from 2011 Euro run (I went to the Manchester date). Brian Fallon from The Gaslight Anthem. Chuck Ragan from Hot Water Music. Alkaline Trio's Dan Adriano & Dave Hause all doing solo sets & playing together. 1hr 11m is a belting version of 'Meet You In The Middle'.
