Paid Members Gus Mears Posted December 16, 2025 Paid Members Posted December 16, 2025 I may have found the wobbliest VHS rip of all time. Treat yourself this afternoon to 19:23 of bollocks about massive fish backed with flange. Quote
davertfnewman Posted December 16, 2025 Posted December 16, 2025 I think not only should people watch that but they should have their eyes clamped open like Alex from A Clockwork Orange while they do. It's a documentary series like something Johnny Kingdom would do if he wasn't scared of going into a cave to find the Beast of Bodmin. Quote
Paid Members BomberPat Posted December 17, 2025 Paid Members Posted December 17, 2025 I might be stating the obvious here, but it's not a real VHS rip - they're short films created to look like '70s found footage. I've been meaning to get around to watching them for a while, because they look brilliant. Quote
Paid Members Gus Mears Posted December 17, 2025 Paid Members Posted December 17, 2025 Damnit, Pat. This was one of those things I really don't need confirmation of, like what happens after we die, or how they make chicken selects. Quote

Members SuperBacon Posted January 13 Members Posted January 13 My Amazon order just now was a car tyre air inflator thing, bin bags and coffee filter papers. What a dull order, what a dull man. Quote
cobra_gordo Posted January 14 Posted January 14 Came up on my memories on Facebook of the time in 2018 when I accidentally pocket dialled my wife whilst I was at work and she got to hear a riveting 30 second snippet of a conversation I was having with a colleague about Freeview boxes. Quote

I was once stood behind Sally from Coronation Street in the queue at Costco. She had a pallet trolly full of toilet paper and tins of baked beans. Quote

I started doing it because I was sick of spending a fortune on Cushelle (aka the good stuff) only for only about 6 sheets a packet to touch my arse after the kids had used half a sodding roll every time they went to the bog. I once accidentally double ordered it off them and was horrified when I opened my front door one day to find a pile of toilet rolls as tall as me stood there. This was at the end of February 2020. Best timed mistake I ever made. Quote
cobra_gordo Posted January 14 Posted January 14 These have been our bog roll of choice since Covid as they were the only ones available at the time and it's now set the bar in our house. £5.29 for 12 and it's nice and thick. What am I missing out on with the Amazon stuff? Quote
deathrey Posted January 14 Posted January 14 I'm just buying Andrex - it's just that bulk buying is a little cheaper and more convenient for me. I wouldn't say it's better toilet paper Quote
