I think it’s safe to say that in a meet and greet environment Hulk probably had no idea about all this guys red flags. It’s equally safe to say that had he known this picture would still exist.

I guess my point is that it's one of power dynamics; Hogan getting a photo taken with a racist who paid for a meet and greet is considerably less problematic to me than Hogan being a featured part of a racist presidential campaign. 

That, and it's Hogan, so "racist", "jumping on a grifter's bandwagon", and "oblivious to everything around him and thick as pig shit" are all equally likely explanations, and none of them mutually exclusive. 

And, obviously, whoever the guy he's photographed with is, they're a horrible reactionary little cunt.

Of course it is. An attempted one. It's making a point of all the racist connotations and elements on display with Hulks associated reputation. It's very much a 'look at this, how more racist can this guy get!?' post. When it's hardly evidence of that, really. Who knows if he realised, cared or who else he had similar photos with at a meet + greet to shill his latest product. I personally wouldn't have recognised any of those elements mentioned, simply thought at a glance it's another dude in a MAGA hat (which turns out wasn't completely accurate) and thought that was going to be the point of the post.

I had a photo with Kevin Nash and in the less than 10 seconds he spent with me among dozens of fans he asked if I was wearing a Misfits T shirt. The t-shirt was legitimately 95% covered by a closed jacket with only like a 2 inch triangle visible at the top. 

I hope you enjoyed my abecdotal evidence that it is possible for a braindead old wrestler to pay attention to peoples clothes at a photo op. I agree with mr danger's opinion on the situation though.

I think the thing about wrestling is its very subjective. I didn't watch wrestling for years. Not because of lack of interest I just didn't have sky anymore. When aew was formed there were a lot more forums than there use to be. So I talk to other wrestling fans a lot more. I could talk to 100 wrestling fans and get 100 different answers of what they think good wrestling is. The problem is some people don't seem to realise that wrestling is subjective. I was having a discussion with someone on another forum who thinks aew fans live in a bubble. Although a lot of aew fans watch wwe as well and a lot of them watch a lot of wrestling in general. They know wrestling they certainly aren't in a bubble. Just because they like something you don't, doesn't mean they are wrong.

I haven't seen many hogan matches to be honest. But hogan v the rock is a fantastic match I think.  But not everyone did like it. I think meltzer gave it 3 stars. But meltzer likes athletic matches more. 

Like I said wrestling is very subjective. And I think some fans need to learn that.
