Aside from the fact, you're taking top acts and condensing them into one feud or match (Kenny from singles competition, and The Bucks from a top tag feud - or even singles feuds, if you want to shake things up) - it absolutely has diluted the tag division. Look at who's left - it's very thin on the ground, and most of the acts are ice cold. You knock WWE there - but I'd argue that they've done a better job with The Usos as champs than AEW has with any of its tag title reigns, with the exception of Omega and Hangman's run. 19 minutes ago, Infinity Land said: MJF's promo. In fairness to him, I can see what he's *trying* to do. In an era where it's incredibly hard to make a truly hateful heel that people genuinely dislike, he's doing everything he can to be that. And I appreciate that effort. But he really has only got one trick up his sleeve. People seem to like it, on the whole, but even some of his biggest defenders are starting to tire of it and recently, not even taking into consideration the racial stuff, he's been especially poor. I had my question marks about him even during the CM Punk feud and got the feeling that Punk was sometimes dragging him up to his level and he's now proving that feeling every time he opens his gob. That said, Tony Khan is more to blame for allowing him to go on like this in the first place. Quote

The MJF promo on Dynamite was divisive, these things (and indeed these promotions) can exist independently of each other. Quote

MJF's promo was ill-thought out and in bad taste, but what has Cody's promo got to do with it? AEW indeed have had worse promos, but it doesn't make this promo any better. Nor does people maybe going a little over the top in praising Cody's promo. It's tribalism at its finest. Quote

The "banter" during his commentary appearance wasn't great either. Side note they've now announced dates up to the first Dynamite of May. That UK show announced with some fanfare at the start of the year has gone quiet. Quote
