Had a genuine face, and just liked his Gateshead and his wrestling. Witnessed a Steve Agnew free kick by all accounts, that was apparently better than Roberto Carlos vs France (according to Gateshead fans.) Thoughts are with his family. Really nice, enthusiastic guy who I remember regularly seeing at shows. He was always very supportive and seemed to gravitate towards grassroots endeavours. I'm shocked to hear about his passing.
