Absolute shock when I came here and saw this.

Poor sod. From up in my neck of the woods, too. Had a genuine face, and just liked his Gateshead and his wrestling. Witnessed a Steve Agnew free kick by all accounts, that was apparently better than Roberto Carlos vs France (according to Gateshead fans.) Thoughts are with his family.

Saw this in Ian's twitter. Really gutting news. Baz used to be a big user of my trading services back in the day. Lovely fella, loved his wrestling, football and telly. Fit right in on here. Always nice on MSN, chat, email and on here where he never got into any bother, posted about stuff he liked and never had a bad word for anyone. RIP Eugene. Up the Heed.

I knew Barry from when I wrestled on the Northeast independent scene in the mid-to-late 2000's. Really nice, enthusiastic guy who I remember regularly seeing at shows. He was always very supportive and seemed to gravitate towards grassroots endeavours. I'm shocked to hear about his passing.
