TheScarlettChad Posted November 9, 2025 Posted November 9, 2025 I love how by saying "55..." he's implying he looks young for his age. He looks so old. Quote

mrtrickio Posted November 10, 2025 Posted November 10, 2025 (edited) What if "55..." is referring to the number of days until he is back with WWE. 55 days from when he made that post is Saturday 3rd January 2026 Edited November 10, 2025 by mrtrickio Quote

JakeRobertsParoleOfficer Posted November 10, 2025 Posted November 10, 2025 Jericho is a strange one for me as ive never quite been able to understand how hes had the career hes had?? I never saw him as anything above midcard level max!!! I actually felt he was Tito Santana level but far less entertaining. He was too small to be a monster, or bruiser, but wasnt a flyer Moveset was boring as hell His look ranged from boring to jaringly awful Promos steadfastly were cringe the longer he stayed somewhere. Still have no idea why they stuck the Undisputed title on him?? Just dont find him charismatic at all Add in, hes thick as hell, has some truly off views and thinks hes a legit music star (when 99.9% of fans at his giggs are wrestling fans trying to see or get close to him on the cheap) And its just a big pile of 'meh' Quote

DavidB6937 Posted November 10, 2025 Posted November 10, 2025 Putting aside his questionable personal behaviours/beliefs, and his general hanging around too long in AEW, it's pretty obvious that the guy has managed to reinvent himself enough to keep entertaining crowds wherever he's been. He's been more than capable in the ring. And from WCW to WWE to AEW he's had a character that crowds actually found amusing. I get that not everyone would buy into him but to suggest he's not charismatic is probably one of the more far reaching criticisms you could throw at the guy. Quote

But how do you come to the conclusion that a guy who had the Lionsault amongst his finishes wasn't a flyer? And it's not like that was the only flying he did either. Quote

Also the Liontamer (not Walls of Jericho) was a great submission. He had a lot of charisma and a great look (of its time, but it stood out). Quote
Chili Posted November 10, 2025 Posted November 10, 2025 (edited) Having watched it in real time as it aired, Jericho in WCW 1998 might have been one of the best runs of anyone in that company for an act who wasn't a headliner doing absolutely everything to get noticed. I found him extremely fun to watch AND wanted to see him get his arse kicked. He passed the 'parent not really paying attention because it's wrestling' litmus test in my house as my mum absolutely loathed his winging and made comment on it. theringmaster Posted November 10, 2025 Posted November 10, 2025 The hype around Jericho in late 90s was huge, he was being talked about as being the next Shawn Micheals. I have personally never got the Jericho hate, all the criticism people have about him is all the things they praise people like Micheals, Taker, Danielson etc for. One last wwe run will be a big success for wwe i have no doubt. Quote
BarryOVega Posted November 10, 2025 Posted November 10, 2025 I’d watch Raw if he turns up anytime soon, just to see who they have him work with, surely he wouldn’t want to come back to have mid card matches with a load of younger lads when he’s already done that return countless times Can’t help but feel the main reason they’ve interest in signing him is the hope of his Mania entrance with the crowd singing his theme song going viral Quote
TheScarlettChad Posted November 10, 2025 Posted November 10, 2025 Can't see them letting him use Judas, personally. Quote
