I’d watch Raw if he turns up anytime soon, just to see who they have him work with, surely he wouldn’t want to come back to have mid card matches with a load of younger lads when he’s already done that return countless times

It's been what, 7/8 years? A massive difference from his previous gaps in returns. There's a hell of a lot of talent he's never worked with now. Plus as it's likely to be his final run in his career, I'm sure he'll do a mixture of top and mid card stuff.

Yeah I see your point but in his last few runs he could still keep up with the younger wrestlers when he worked with them, it’d be terrible for him to come back and the most intriguing thing about it seeing if he cripples himself trying to do a lionsault

Cody got to use his song, so I don't think it's out of the question.

Good point, but Jericho was a main eventer in WWE. He was established. Cody wasn't going back to be Stardust. Its not out of the realm of possibility that he returns with Judas, But he could be used as a part time nostalgia act, which if that's the case, BTWD would be the one to use. Can't see them letting him be The Painmaker either. Or any of the AEW gimmicks.

I’m not saying it’s a dead cert, but there’s a very high chance WWE have seen his AEW run with everyone singing to Judas and want a bit of that action. Crowd singing theme songs is half their show these days.

I think Jericho largely gets his own way too. Like with Punk, Triple H may have had issues with him in the past, but I get the feeling his ego is massaged massively by being able to bring back big names who would have been active when he was, and so is happier to let them have the run of things.

But Vince wasn't? He's terrible because he may let Jericho use his AEW theme?

Ironically as soon as wwf beat wcw and vince bought them vince when downhill.

Literally it just became his plaything and it stopped being about what made sense.

The botched invasion showed that.

At the time he left hed been poison for his own product for over 20 years

As hideous a person as Vince is/was and as terrible as the product could be for long stretches of those 20 years, it is still a bit ridiculous that pretty much anything decent WWE put out in that time the credit goes to the wrestlers themselves or Triple H whereas anything bad was automatically Old Man Vince being out of touch

Cody coming back at Mania with that entrance and having the exact same gimmick as he had in AEW is proof Vince/WWE are happy to use whatever they can to get those precious viral moments, Jericho would probably get the countdown clock into Judas if he comes back

That original 'save us_y2j' return was such a disappointment. He came back with the old man Bon Jovi haircut and his sparkly jacket and outdated promos from 1999. Raw was utter shite at the time too, so took some doing to be that underwhelming.

That and an awful camera cut when he lamped the guy holding the flame. Honking return.
