Why has the UKFF turned to the dark side?

Anyone know why the UKFF has gone all dark? I know black is very slimming but it's bloody hard to read anything on here now.

I've really got used to it now and couldn't go back. I switched it over to check and I felt like it was burning my retinas.

EDIT: Well, I'm liking it for mobile. Haven't figured out how to set it for a regular computer.

Have to change Theme in browser settings. Where's the setting for the computer version?

Unfortunately, dark mode makes emojis look like Al Jolson.

Has dark mode been turned off? Another forum I frequent uses the same software that is used by the UKFF. Its dark mode is still active. Weirdly the UKFF logo looks to be in dark mode. Unfortunately the rest of the site isn't.
