It was a solid show.

Eddie & Miro was a fun brawl. There's also something there to let them do a rematch if they wanted to.

Moxley & Kojima was good. I marked out when MiSu turned up. That'll be fun to watch on Dynamite.

There were a few dull moments early on in the Battle Royal, but it happens in those kinds of matches sometimes. I can't see Ruby beating Britt, but it'll be a decent match. I'd like to see her against Thunder Rosa in a proper match.

The cage match was a heck of a spectacle, but not the kind of wrestling i tend to enjoy.

I enjoyed Punk & Darby. Wight Vs Marshall was what it was. Presumably he'll go after Billy Gunn and his clones next.

MJF with the bait and switch entrance was fun. I understood the whole thing with his back injury during the match, but is he now the only person Jericho has beaten without needing to use the Judas Effect? Does it not make him look a bit weak?

The title match was alright, but I just never thought Christian had a chance of winning it. Them pivoting from what we thought was Page's big moment to this was a let down.

Danielson Vs Cole at Full Gear? It was a loaded finish to the show, but as was mentioned elsewhere that's a LOT of ex WWE guys. It could be good if it doesn't turn into late 90s WCW. Time will tell.

I certainly think Punk was on the wind up with his comments but he took the right time to take that potshot. That was an incredible PPV and a definite statement of intent from AEW.

Vince can not care and ignore them all he wants but I'm sure there is alot of people behind the scenes running the WWE atm, getting increasingly nervous about AEW. Its obvious most of their talent would happily jump there too.

Not at all - if anything it made the Walls look stronger than it has in years. The way MJF screamed after landing off the top rope clutching his back, I thought he’d properly injured it. They set it up so when the hold was locked in, he had to tap, but not because he was giving up, if that made sense. It was tap or risk permanent damage.

And speaking of 1997, that CM Punk match was the most poetic end to the Wednesday Night Wars imaginable. The winners doing a Bret Hart tribute match whilst Triple H and HBK’s territory dies a sad, humiliating death? Beautiful. Bret should re-release his book with an extra chapter covering this.

I'm sure that's exactly what they thought too.. not that they would go out and put on a great match it was all about bret getting one over on Shawn somehow.. your point is bordering on ridiculous

I've only dipped my toe into AEW a few times, but I've watched that end segment from All Out about 5 times. Its just perfect.

Bringing out Cole was a nice surprise but I'm sure a few felt dissapointed it wasn't BD, only to lose their shit moments later. Turning Cole and having him side with the Elite and having Danielson as the babyface to challenge them took nothing away from either guys debut and made everyone look big time in the process.

Wonderful stuff. I have faith that despite the shiny new toys, Hangman will still be the one to take the belt off Omega. AEW seems to want to do things right, so I can't see them tossing Woody to the side because Buzzlight year showed up.
