It's been quite humid here the last few days which has tainted my enjoyment slightly but today is dry as a bone and 35ᵒ. It's like being in some sort of paradise.

One of my favourite indulgences in this weather is a pint of chilled Aspall's Imperial Draught or Fuller's Honey Dew in a big, frosted glass tankard. Glorious.

I really like that it's a drier heat this time. Because this heatwave is such a long one (.Kenneth.jpg) it is a bit of a ballache at night with the house never cooling properly, but pointing the tower fan directly at my bollocks seems to do the trick.

I already know I'm going to vividly remember this summer with the good weather and World Cup running in parallel long into the future.

I'm rather enjoying the weather as is right now. Not blazing hot, even when it's sunny, and the humidity isn't ridiculous. It's pretty close to "just so". Can always do with a little bit more dry heat, but this is good.

Still 25 here, and still humid & uncomfortable as anything, especially at night. Probably because I spent so many years working full-time nights, and as such developing god-awful sleeping patterns (try going to bed at 1pm at the height of summer), I've no trouble at all nodding off, so I've got that going for me at least.

I'd bite your hand off right now if I was offered March weather for the rest of my life.

Edit: I appear to be in the wrong thread.

Looks like we're hitting 30 odd again next week which I'm sure everyone in the Whingey Bastards thread will be ecstatic about.

Agree with Carbomb that this week has been pleasant, mind. I've enjoyed not needing to bung sun cream on before doing anything. Reckon I'll get some open air cinema action on the go once we're back up to roasting temperatures.

You certainly are. But then @I Bent My Wookie just posted what looked like a praise post in the Moaning thread, so that evens things up.

It's so warm I didn't even notice there was two threads and you know what I still can't complain about it.

Though that post over in the whinges did start mentioning how the weather was kicking my ass, so either I'm a masochist or deeply confused 😂

I've been in Yorkshire since Monday, the weather has topped it at 26 degrees but has been between 22 - 25 since we've been here and it's been lovely. The house isn't a furnace, it's comfortable to sleep at night, I've not even needed a fan. I've been able to sit out in the garden without slathering my self in SPF, we've had a lovely BBQ, it's just been so nice and sunny but not hot. I need to move to the north again. My husband reports that it's still 30 degrees plus at home.

Had to go out in the middle of the night with my daughter as she's been having sleep issues and I was actually quite chilly. It was wonderful.

Weather adjacent. Tell you what I don't care about, the eclipse tomorrow. My mum been messaging roughly 2,000 times a day about where I can buy glasses for it and I haven't the heart to tell her I intend to watch it from the comfort of my living room with the blinds closed.

I'm entertained by the amount of places online now selling eclipse glasses that won't show up until Friday. I managed to buy some in London at a pop-up, but the queue was hundreds of people long.
