It's incredibly hard to test for what it's like to be running a lot of games that can potentially connect and play against each other over the internet. It sounds like the sort of bug that doesn't happen when you're running an instance of the game on a dev computer that's offline, or testing multiplayer across a local network, but IS happening when @BomberPat's PS4 connects to THQ's online servers. Someone has rushed out a fix for something networky, tested it locally on his computer, not considered the implications for e.g single-player offline, and dumped it into the Day One patch. jm29195 Posted July 4, 2023 Share Posted July 4, 2023 I have the PS4 crash issue, and you can play the game if you switch off wireless connectivity for the console. Paid Members Accident Prone Posted July 5, 2023 Paid Members Share Posted July 5, 2023 I watched a New Legacy highlights video from the day-one footage, and it looks like a fun game but with an awful lot of bugs. All the weapons stuff looks really good too, and I'm eager to dive into that side of things, but I'll be waiting for a mod that stops the various debris and weaponry becoming translucent when a wrestler is nearby. So a drop in price, a massive patch that fixes bugs and streamlines the experience, and a mod that'll effectively turn this game into the CZW edition...I don't ask for much! I see there's barbed wire boards on the floor but it's weird that you can't make use of them, that match has potential to be great but it's so limiting right now. westlondonmist Posted July 5, 2023 Share Posted July 5, 2023 I got Brodie Lee, basically won the Casino Battle Royal then lost every match by quitting as soon as they started and it took me to the Dark Order storyline. I used Kenny Omega for that, his special moves and finisher are just standing which I think makes it easier. I played a barbed wire death match and the explosion failed, which was quite fun although that had to be unlocked. Also played my first online match against someone who made Big Daddy, did far too many moves for Big Daddy but it was still an easy, easy, easy win.
