Paid Members PunkStep Posted May 17, 2021 Paid Members Posted May 17, 2021 Who's the half?? Surely not Lamela... I'll let you off if it's Chadli. I thought he was pretty decent.
Paid Members Cod Eye Posted May 17, 2021 Paid Members Posted May 17, 2021 if he does go, it will be really strange to see him in another teams colours. When Pochettino was building his side and they were looking like genuine contenders, I'd have bet my mortgage that Kane would be the next great one-club man in the vein of Gerrard and Giggs(only without the winners medals). If he does go, the club only have themselves to blame. They produced a player that you can put alongside the worlds best, and rather than capitalising on it and finally spending big(er)to build a team around him that he deserves, they went backwards and look to have blown it. i must be honest, though. I wish they had appointed a more attack minded manager instead of Mourinho, as a front three of Kane, Son and a (motivated) Bale would ave been deadly with the right tactics...
Daaaaaad! Posted May 17, 2021 Posted May 17, 2021 Might be stretching here but doesn't Kane have 2+ years left on his deal? Perhaps in a pre-Covid world he'd be able to muscle his way out but surely not now. Besides which, Haaland would almost certainly command less of a fee and surely has the far greater upside for any teams who'd be in the market for him. He's 27, has a slightly dodgy knee and a fee which at the very least teeters on the possibility of outweighing his actual value. Great paper talk for Jim White to have a big strokey wank over, but I just can't see him actually leaving with the price Levy would presumably expect any potential suitors to pay.
Members SuperBacon Posted May 17, 2021 Members Posted May 17, 2021 Oh fuck off. Seen some United fans say that they don't need/want him. Absolute plebs, the lot of them. If he goes, Levy HAS to go. This would be his failure. Good job he signed him to a big contract eh?
Paid Members PunkStep Posted May 17, 2021 Paid Members Posted May 17, 2021 Ivan Toney would be a better shout than those two imo
Members SuperBacon Posted May 17, 2021 Members Posted May 17, 2021 Ivan Zamorano, even in his mid 50s, would be a better shout than them two.

Paid Members hallicks Posted May 18, 2021 Paid Members Posted May 18, 2021 There must be an element of him stirring things up to try and force Levy to appoint a manager that he approves of. Who would you Spurs lot like to see come in now that the Ajax bloke has opted out?

Paid Members hallicks Posted May 18, 2021 Paid Members Posted May 18, 2021 If you’re looking for an experienced title-winning manager who’s previously worked in the North London area, isn’t this guy available?

According to Twitter, hes involved in buying Arsenal along with Spotify man, Henry, Herbert Chapman, John Thompsons Gooner Fast Show character and John Jensen.
Factotum Posted May 18, 2021 Posted May 18, 2021 Well if you are looking for someone to blow 120 million on shit he's your man
Paid Members PunkStep Posted May 18, 2021 Paid Members Posted May 18, 2021 I'm a bit pissed off at that Spotify bloke. He supposedly put in a bid, knew that it wasn't going to be accepted, and when the Kroenkes knocked him back he has left it for now effectively saying 'oh well, I tried'.

Always was a massive publicity stunt. What made me chuckle about all that was the "We need our Arsenal DNA back" talk. Eh? You have ex players all over the gaff! Arteta, Edu, Bould, Mertesacker. Keown and Jensen among the scouts still? That's more than most clubs have!
