It’s not just lesser leagues though is it? Kyle Walkers a given but Eriksens just won the Scudetto with Inter and Keiran Trippier is on the brink of winning La Liga as a regular for Atletico. The motif of “you can be good enough to win titles but you won’t win them at Spurs” is very real.
