Haven’t seen all of Raw yet, I’m only up to the Punk entrance. Just want to say he must have watched the tapes back and realised he sounded daft at Wrestlemania when he shouted “IT’S CLOB…” because he tightened it up tonight and removed the CLOB.

That row of green shirt guys in the front row surely must be the apex of fans getting themselves over?  I thought we’d passed this when Brock Lesnar completely ignored Brock Lesnar Guy at Mania. 

They’re really doing their best to cool Oba off aren’t they? Shocked faces at Mania, the already overdone one sentence mic drop promo tonight. Next week he’ll have a big juicy “I AM THE RULER” before his music and he’ll have the trifecta of modern day shit.

Problem with Oba, is where do you go now after "retiring" Brock?

The only thing that makes sense was straight after Reigns, but it looks like that will be held off for a while.

Whatever Oba does next will seem pretty insignificant.

I'd see that a nothing more than scene-setting, TBH. It's "We had this big event, loadsa famous people were here cos it's a really big deal, now here's what happened".

It's to grab the attention of people who get it in their YouTube algorithm who'll stick around to watch the rest if they see top NFL/NBA etc names there and going crazy over it.

Havent watched all of Raw yet but I did enjoy what I saw between Roman and Jacob, could turn out to be alright, could be total shit, who knows, but I enjoyed the segment.

He said on the post show of WrestleMania that he’ll come for the OTC towards the end of the year.

I would predict he has to smack about the Vision for a bit, get some Seth Rolins stink all over him in some tags. 

Then he'll face Gunther at Summerslam, sell too much or even lose and be ice cold by the time he faces Reigns.

They literally let him open the biggest RAW of the year while putting him over multiple times as the guy who retired Lesnar. They're not doing anything to cool him off.

The only question mark hanging over all this is whether it's a mistake not putting him with Roman straight away, but only time will tell on that.

I think the pessimism from some after 24 hours is a bit much. You can easily make the argument that if people lose interest in him that fast then he's not the one to go after Roman anyway.

I'd like to see Oba go after Gunther as well, potentially in the meantime to maybe doing something with Roman.

Like, "who do you think you are, you've retired a couple of guys who are on their way out anyway and now you think you're top of the tree", and all that sort of carry on, Oba giving it I'm the ruler here you're not in my food chain. 

Doesn't exactly make the most sense in the world but a "ruler" wants to lord it over everyone, can't imagine a ruler wanting someone like Gunther cutting about thinking he's got more of a say than he has.

Oba vs. Gunther would be a good feud to bridge the gap. Gunther wanted to be the one to retire Brock and Oba got there first.

Yeah that's what I was thinking, there's the common theme of Brock there between the two, both wrestle with a dominant style in their own way, definitely think it could work.
