Mr Butternut Squash Posted February 3 Posted February 3 Punk vs Roman could bring back my love of Wrestling. Will we see Roman show up again before Mania though? Quote
NeverYield Posted February 3 Posted February 3 Punk vs Reigns will hopefully be epic Just let these two bring it, no outside interference, no one else getting involved in the build up just let these go at it. Quote
Paid Members waters44 Posted February 3 Paid Members Posted February 3 Did anyone watch the whole show and if so how was it? I looked at the Cagematch and can see there were three, yes THREE, matches on the entire show. It's still three hours I presume, so other than the Punk / Roman segment how are they filling the other half of the show? There must be at least a dozen championship belts in the company and we're getting six wrestlers on the main three hour weekly show. Make it make sense! Quote

DavidB6937 Posted February 3 Posted February 3 It was fine. Focusing on a lot of post-Rumble development which I'd expect. No different to how they usually are to be fair. Quote

Paid Members tiger_rick Posted February 3 Paid Members Posted February 3 Roman and Punk will do 20 minutes on entrances and 10 minutes wandering around jaw-jacking each other overly loudly so the back row can get it. Cardio is unlikely to be an issue. Quote
AshC Posted February 3 Posted February 3 What the fuck were they ever thinking, diluting this combo a year ago?! Quote

Members SuperBacon Posted February 3 Members Posted February 3 I only watch occasionally but I always think that Gunther is the most well presented wrestler in the world. Everything about him is done so well, from his entrance to his attire to his music to him. He is absolutely fantastic. Still cannot believe they had him lose to Jey Uso. Quote

Accidentally clicked on the first page and started reading it and this amused me. The more things change.. Quote

It is, but the involvement of the title adds extra wrinkles and storytelling opportunities that I like. I hope this match closes night 2, but either way it’ll be exciting. 2 hours ago, TheScarlettChad said: I'm so used to Gunther now that I don't mind it. Love the career killer graphics. Reckon Orton vs Gunther is a lock for mania. Legend killer vs Career Killer. I feel like I’m picking on you here, Chad! I don’t think it is - I reckon we’re getting Gunther/Lesnar, and it’ll be another retirement match. I’m not sure what they’re going to do with Orton, but I’d be surprised if it was an interbrand match. I thought Raw was really good, and it has me really excited for Wrestlemania. I hope they can maintain the momentum though - John Cena’s heel turn had me buzzing last time round, and we all know how that turned out. Here’s hoping neither Punk nor Reigns brings out Travis Scott or The Rock in the coming weeks. Quote
DavidB6937 Posted February 3 Posted February 3 Since he didn't get his Oscar nod, I reckon we'll get Dwayne back for Mania, this time as Mark Kerr winning the title off Drew. Then he'll leave when he needs to promote live action Moana but that should give him enough time to come back by Survivor Series to beat Punk or Roman for the belt as Maui. Quote

It's in his home state, I think? Quote
