I sort of get it but I also liked the Julia Hart vignettes. That time Kane set the bloke on fire with his force lightning was awesome too. I stand by this. Sometimes I like the suspension of disbelief and the logical story telling and the beard strokey stuff that tickles the brain, other times I think I’m one American passport away from being a guy who watches NASCAR.

Yeah, I hate this shit. It’s too much of a reminder that we’re not watching a wrestling show, we’re watching a TV drama about a wrestling show. Up there with pre-recorded matches where you see a shot from part of the set where the previous shot established there was no camera/cameraperson.

Yeah, I hate it. At least “the following announcement has been paid for by the new World order” made complete sense that the nWo would do whatever it took to spread their propaganda. This isn’t that.

Theyre just doing whatever they want whether we can make sense of it or not. Like Funhouse Bray counting the pin for The Fiend at Mania 36.

I hate it *a lot* less than when they do heavily treated packages for main event matches where they've had the two opponents together to film it.

Or when they did that series of 'Hollywood Film' style vignettes where Bradshaw was a solicitor or whatever.

They really take me out of it.

But I can just about get to 'Bayley was told she had to film something for the broadcast, and this is what she demanded of the producers and editors'.

I'm not saying it's good, necessarily. Just not a huge departure from what they do usually.

I took at look at the Batley segments and I'm probably echoing many but if they hadn't added the fake voices in her head it would've been a good believeable promo.

That on its own as a direction for one of the three remaining Horsewomen crossed my mind a while ago. A gimmick there they're getting older, losing more and question their abilities. I actually thought Charlotte was more worthy. Have her stop being so glam, see her sat round in a hoodie and sweatpants etc. But it would've been better with Bayley and the fans rallying for her over time.

That though requires a bit of finesse which we know isn't wwe's strongest point

I think maybe that’s just something we have to accept now. That’s what wrestling is in 2025. Everyone is so clued into it not being real to the extent they’re producing shows telling us how it isn’t real.

It frees everything up to be more batshit and nonsensical if anything - which may be a good thing -  I loved Lucha Undergound. Maybe if a big company just fully leaned into it, everything might seem a bit less stale.

It’s bollocks though, isn’t it? Everyone’s known Coronation Street isn’t real for 65 years, you still don’t get to hear Tracy Barlows inner monologue as she mulls over whether to marry Steve or not.

They’ve been letting the mask slip re: filming cinematically ever since the “Rocks POV” impossible camera angle in the Halftime Heat finish, possibly earlier - I think there was an “inside the coffin” angle from a cameraman we didn’t see moments earlier during the Jake turning on Warrior angle in 91. But we still shouldn’t let them get away with proper WrestleCrap like hearing the wrestlers’ thoughts.

God, I just remembered TK’s voicemail to MJF at whatever PPV that was. UGH. Please lads, at least pretend it’s not, err, pretend.

Watch: Corrie: Distressed Theo smashes up builders' yard after hearing voices | Metro Video

Just this month.

It actually looks like the inspiration to the Bayley piece...

Well, serves me right for trying to make a point with a show I’ve never watched.

Should have gone with “Tamzin Outhwaite’s character walks in! Barry looks like he’s got a bonk on!”

I feel like you're being flippant to make a point here, but it was a parody of A Few Good Men, one of the greatest courtroom scenes in cinema history. Not just Bradshaw filing clerical paperwork for a fence dispute in the Cotswolds.

I just didn't fully remember it, but how qualified he was in the legal profession wasn't really my main issue with it.

Is that the Batley (British) Bulldogs? ?

Didn’t watch Raw. Seems nobody did. I saw a clip online though. You’re not going to believe this. A Seth Rollins beatdown interrupted by CM Punk’s music hitting!

The year is 2034. It’s Wrestlemania 50. Night One is headlined by CM Punk vs. Seth Rollins. Night Two is some form of Bloodline Civil War. Forever.

I mean, in the grand scheme of shitty things that company has done even in the last month, it barely registers - but it's still an astonishingly cunty thing to say.

It's funny though, in that you know Triple H is gutted the Osborne family now think he's a twat.
