Or even to a charity that advocates for press freedom to use that regime’s money to remind people exactly what they did. By going over there and indirectly being paid by the Saudi government he is further legitimising their regime and policies. No LGBTQ+ charity with a backbone is going to accept his dirty money. There's no way out of this that doesn't make him look bad. Quote

Or even to a charity that advocates for press freedom to use that regime’s money to remind people exactly what they did He recently complained in an interview about wrestlers who give money to charity and put their names on it as just a way to get themselves over. He then said that he donates money to charity/causes but keeps it secret. Even if that's true (it probably isn't) it's ridiculous and typically spiteful, miserable and immature opinion from him. Celebrities giving money to charity and telling people about it actually draws attention to that cause and leads to more people donating which easily outweighs any negatives there may be as to doubts around why the celebrities are doing it. So that's a long winded way of saying no he's not likely to be donating any of that money to charity and even if he did it's still tainted, corrupt blood money. Edited June 13, 2025 by LaGoosh Quote

I don’t disagree with any of this, but I can forgive a bad decision made with good intentions more than I can hypocrisy. Ultimately, anything that makes it seem less likely that his ‘principles’ are insincere is welcome to me at this point. There are other allies out there, but I’d found his voice to be a powerful one, and I fully acknowledge that I’m probably clutching at straws as a result. If it’s as simple as him not giving a shit or treating his principles as a gimmick, it’s going to be hurtful and damaging to so many people who valued what he had to say, and that’s really awful. In a world in which cruelty towards many minority groups has become socially acceptable, this kind of thing really fucking sucks. Quote

In fairness, I definitely read that as a less-than-thinly-veiled shot at Jericho, which would not shock me given how petty Phil is. Quote
Paid Members Supremo Posted June 13, 2025 Paid Members Posted June 13, 2025 Tenner says Jericho and Punk do a podcast together and team up for a tag match within the next twelve months. ”We’re very alike if you think about. Kind of the last two guys to really help build AEW before returning home.” Jericho’s already brainstorming the worst Tag Team Names you’ve ever heard. Quote

Paid Members I Bent My Wookie Posted June 17, 2025 Paid Members Posted June 17, 2025 Good RAW overall, But Becky Lynch really is the worst actress they've got right, as soon as she opens her mouth? It's like an amateur drama club asked someone to play a wrestler and the one kid you feel bad saying no to has gone on a run with a character and you haven't the heart to stop it. I've took to any segments with her either being fast forward or do something else in the background like make a cup of Tea Quote
