It’s definitely possible but if he did, he would absolutely wear it for any future appearances after.

Never seen this guy in a single match but there are a lot of people to blame in this thread if he Ultimo Dragons it.

Depends. We might get Penta with his working boots on, or we might get Penta who spams CERO MIEDO like someone keeps pushing the joystick on No Mercy to charge their health. Time will tell.

He has a significant upside if he's booked well and I would absolutely rather see a strong heel run for him.

You'll either really like him or find him annoying as fuck. I think he's great but his zero miedo taunt that he sometimes gets a bit too constantly posing to get your special meter up on No Mercy with can be verrrrry tiring. I love his look though.

@Chili That's okay ? absolutely true though. He's a really capable worker with some terrible lazy habits that do need to be managed. But I guess at least it gives Pat and Michael a little break from yeeting.

I'd like to think Michael Cole has exhausted all his bad habits because him going 'Everybody loves to Zero Miedo, Pat' is right in his wheelhouse.

Will they be sucking off more Netflix executives this week and getting the fans to cheer paying through the nose again is the big angle I'm looking forward to though, you don't want to kill that angle's momentum.

I love Ultimo Dragon but Penta is about 100 times more charismatic and well suited to a modern American wrestling audience. I don’t think it’s possible to overdo a signature pose or catchphrase for the WWE audience, so can’t see that being a problem. He has an incredible look, great physical charisma, can get over as a babyface but is even better as an unhinged psycho heel. Even if he tones down the in-ring style he’ll be impressive enough in WWE TV matches where the bar is generally  lower. There’s no reason why he shouldn’t do well unless the booking and direction isn’t there.

We’re getting it at least once because they’re going to want to get it over. Luckily he’s coming in with a portion of the crowd knowing exactly who he is and what he’s about, so that won’t take long.

As for whether thy would’ve signed him with AEW being around, I’m sure he would’ve been brought in at some point but he’d have definitely been down in NXT to begin with. Thankfully Vince isn’t still around (the time of writing), because you know full well he’d have had a sombrero on within weeks of coming g to the main roster

I was wondering the other day, has anyone ever done the arm-snappy move Penta does in WWE? I know Swerve has it in his arsenal too but don't know if he ever did it in his stint. 

Have Penta do that to Rey tonight, sell it as a legit broken arm causing Rey to miss the Rumble (and indeed be out until he returns to face Penta at Mania) and he's well on his way to being a made man. 

Honestly, it's a real blessing barely disguised that Fenix is still tied up in AEW contract. It seems odd to say about shoot brothers but they're so ill fitting as a tag team IMO.
