If everyone had been stuck indoors for 8 months this probably would have ended by now, but our government are idiots and everyone wanted to get down the pub so here we are. A solid combination of bizarre and seemingly random rules, people being forgotten about and a new slogan every time another person dies.

France have just declared a state of emergency, with a curfew from 9pm till 6am in towns and cities on the highest alert.

And a 120 quid fine if they catch you outside. That said they did record 27k new infections a few days back

This might help. Was updated half an hour ago so has probably been revised six times since. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-54373904

Cheers Keith. That shows the current restrictions for a given postcode, so my back up is to wait until midnight tomorrow and then check that site 😬

Does anyone know with the new restrictions what is counted as London? Can't find clarification anywhere. Specificly want to understand if Croydon is included.

Croydon is included: https://wp.croydon.gov.uk/newsroom/covid-19-update-a-message-from-councillor-tony-newman-leader-of-the-council-19/

I'm 99% sure it's all London boroughs (ie Greater London.)

It is getting very confusing as what are you're in depends on your local government setup. There's lots of mention today of Essex going into Tier 2 today, but it's actually only places covered by Essex County Council, meaning both Southend and Thurrock aren't included.

My library service (in London) have decided that now would be a good time to up the number of dementia groups taking place in libraries. These are groups of mostly vulnerable people mixing households and talking to each other. It also includes playing games on the same surface.

I dunno. Maybe its a good thing? Timing feels a little off though...

They have to make this easier to find and check as when things hopefully start coming out of tiers the same thing will happen

But if everything is crystal clear, the public might have no issue following the rules, then the Tory cunts can’t blame people not following the rules.

They wont have to blame anyone. Manchester just refused to go to tier 3. Judging from a few LBC callers they should be penned in, and allow covid to spread according to one caller
