Corbyn is a virtue signalling career politician though & will jump on anything that gains him sway. I prefer his brother tbh Post less mate Quote

Corbyn should never have led Labour. The Tories will stay in power until Labour rids itself of the far left element & aligns itself much nearer the centre & re becomes the party of the working class. Unfortunately that appears to be a long way away. The state of politics in Britain & the US is the most shambolic it’s been post WW2 All Corbyn did wrong was be a decent bloke. If that's a negative, we're all fucked. Quote

Vamp Posted May 20, 2022 Posted May 20, 2022 Nadine Dorris should come with a warning. It's like she's willingly ignorant because then knowledge can't get in the way of what she believes. She's AJ Styles with better hair. Quote

If you want a centrist party, go vote for them. I would quite like the Labour Party - that broad coalition of trade unionists, socialists, and social democrats - to be a left-wing party. Quote

A party literally named after your political beliefs. Labour would fair way better if the extreme left leaning politicians & supporters abandoned the party. I’d love a Labour gov but one of its traditional values, not the extreme socialist version they have become. Quote

What are Labour's "traditional values" that you feel they don't stand for now, and what of their current policies would you consider "extremely socialist"? Quote

It’s just gonna take a long time to undo the damage Corbyn did to the party. When I say traditional Labour I’m actually referring to just pre Corbyn Labour. Quote

Come on, you’re parroting lines from right-wing rags and social media, without ever adequately justifying what you’ve said. You accused Corbyn of ‘virtue-signalling’ and being ‘offended at everything’, but when asked to give examples, you didn’t. Same goes for this - you’ve been asked for examples of policies that fit the narrative you’re spinning, and you’ve not done that. I’m fairly sure you’re trolling, in which case, mission accomplished, I imagine. If you’re not, do better at backing up your own point. Quote

He’s the most unpopular opposition leader in history at a time when his political opponent is literally an unlikeable, knuckle dragging, dangerous buffoon. This means I’m far from alone in my opinion. Corbyn managed to unite angry purple haired people that argue about genders, vegans, statue harassers & people that identify as tumble dryers. As well as cosying up to terror groups. Calling for the end of Trident without thinking of the ramifications. An appeaser, a sympathiser, a truly weak man. I believe also a big fan of lockdowns but of course why wouldn’t he be with all the imaginary money he wants to give to everybody & their dog. An example of his virtue signalling was his transparent pronoun shagging by announcing he prefers to be addressed as he/him. Just STFU. Also setting up that shot of him on the bud so he could be seen as ‘one of our own’. Tbf to him though it worked so can’t knock him too much. As for regurgitating right wing utterings, I’m very much centre left & have been all my life until the centre left got dragged so far to the extreme left I’m ended up on the right side of the line. Keith Houchen Posted May 20, 2022 Posted May 20, 2022 Virtue signalling is an outward display of what a nice supportive person you are, usually a cause that doesn’t affect you and never has, for the benefit of others so they can see what a good person you are. You normally see them in November wearing a plastic red flower. Quote

Donating to charity & displaying a poppy to commemorate our fallen heroes as well as support those that made it through terrible war is exactly the same as saying ‘These Hesbollah lads are alright you know’ & letting the world know you’re a ‘him’.
