Good signing, but he's never been a game changer. Why would he be now?

I suppose because its a big name associated with WWE that's gone to a new promotion. Jericho is a name all wrestling fans know and he isn't seen as 'tarnised' or 'finished'

Considering his entire body of work, Jericho is probably the greatest wrestler in the world that’s still active. Yes he’s quite obviously past his prime physically but he’s still capable of having a world class match with just about anybody.

Naito and Omega arent just about anybody, though.

He had a great match with Evil too.

I don’t get the Jericho hate on here it’s mental.

Edit: More on the Jericho signing, copy and pasted from my phone which is why the font appears like this.

According to F4WOnline.com, it's believed that Jericho's deal with AEW is non-exclusive which means Jericho can still work with NJPW. NJPW reportedly wants Jericho back for another match, possibly against Hiroshi Tanahashi. Video footage of Jericho signing his AEW contract can be seen below.

Jericho's AEW signing was trending on CNN's "news and buzz" section.

Meanwhile, WWE moved Jericho to the Alumni section of WWE.com after Jericho made his AEW rally appearance. In addition to that, Jericho was edited out of the signature intro that opened this week's Smackdown Live. Jericho had apparently been in talks with WWE about a return in recent weeks.

The equal pay for women thing is so stupid. Especially since what they actually mean is "the big women stars will be paid on par with the big men stars." So like Ronda Rousey, then? Or Sable. That's pretty much the case with the big women stars anyway. Its hardly anything to crow about, when equal pay isnt what they actually mean.

And there are no big women stars available anyway.

The more they speak, the more it appears that they're just throwing out buzzwords and sound bytes to cover up the fact that everyone involved is winging it.

What gets me about Jericho is that he makes out to be such a trendsetter and trailblazer, but I don't see what's so mindblowing about riding the crest of this AEW wave.

If he really wanted to try an interesting project, and had real confidence in his abilities and name recognition, he could have helped out his mate Don Callis in trying to revive the Impact brand or even MLW or something. That's the biggest challenge in wrestling, not joining a New Japan clone in north America.

Fair enough, he'll get paid more and receive more exposure in AEW, but don't make out that you're doing something unbelievable in the process.

This is pro wrestling, even if Jericho doesn’t believe a single shred of what he’s saying he’s still going to try and work the hell out of us fans.

What do you want him to say, “I’ve signed with AEW but whatever, you needn’t bother watching”?
