What has she said in the past? I know Warrior said alot of ridiculous stuff in the past, but did she?

Who knows what she's said. But she's now championing pride while wearing the face paint that represents a massive homophobe. She's either very stupid or very ignorant.

She said he was a changed man before his death whereas in reality, he only 'changed' because WWE came knocking again and he knew he had to pipe down.

And the relationship with WWE would have lasted at the most until the end of the plane journey he was planning on taking before he clapped out at the airport. As soon as he got wifi on the plane.

It's not so much Dana tweeting about Pride that's the issue, it's doing so in Warrior facepaint, and WWE trying to turn Warrior into a mascot of Pride and inclusivity, rather than a far-right lunatic. Dana Warrior being a "goodwill ambassador" in that context is already pretty iffy.

Doesn't help that Dana has never spoken out about anything Warrior said (including, apparently, claims that he would "indoctrinate" their daughters, which you'd think he'd have something to say about) beyond a vague statement that "his heart had changed", or his connections to white supremacist groups, and has threatened legal action on websites hosting Warrior's old blogs (after the Warrior estate wiped them from his own website), so she's clearly aware of what he said, and rather than challenging it or acknowledging it she's trying to get it whitewashed.

No one's saying - or should be saying - that Dana doesn't have her own opinions. But when she's presenting herself as an extension of the Ultimate Warrior, in this context, it's only reasonable that we question the sincerity/appropriateness of the gesture.

It's insane that, despite neither Warrior or Dana having ever publicly denounced any of this, people buy into this narrative of him as a "changed man" simply because he showed up on a WWE show. As if making amends with WWE was akin to rehabilitating everything he had ever done wrong.

Even more so when WWE continues to make no effort to connect to the LGBTQ communities, which they really should do considering their past.
