Paid Members IANdrewDiceClay Posted December 18, 2019 Author Paid Members Share Posted December 18, 2019 Stu Bennett is better than anyone in WWE or AEW. He's like Jesse Ventura mixed with Vince McMahon from 1988. He has the pro wrestler authority, credibility and a huge presence, and he looks totally professional. He's way better than Cornette. Moderators PowerButchi Posted December 19, 2019 Moderators Share Posted December 19, 2019 Yeah. He's absolutely brilliant. Great to see CW Anderson too. Hope he's sticking around. I know I said it last night but that was a really really good episode of TV.
Angle_fan
I really think that we're in the beginning of something really special here. I will happily pay for every pay per view as the enjoyment I get each week from this product is worth every penny and I wish Billy every success possible. They instantly make you look forward to the next episode and that's something that's been lacking in wrestling for a long time. I've watched wrestling for 30 years and this became my new favourite programme after the first episode. There's just something magic about it and they've gone right into season 2 with improved presentation and a clear direction of where they're heading. Edited December 19, 2019 by Angle_fan
Paid Members Jazzy G Posted December 19, 2019 Paid Members Share Posted December 19, 2019 I'm curious as to what this group with Aldis & the Wild Cards will be called going forward. If Arn wasn't with AEW I'd be reaching out to him over permission to use the Horsemen name.if he owns the rights to it. Although maybe he wouldn't do it out of respect to Naitch, otherwise some Horsemen probably have turned up in AEW by now.

I'd have no issue with Aldis using the Horsemen name, but I don't think Wildcards are quite there. Plus you'd need an original like Tully or someone, even in a managerial role. Paid Members Jazzy G Posted December 19, 2019 Paid Members Share Posted December 19, 2019 That's true. You'd need something to link it back to the original group.
LEGIT
Echo what everyone has said, brilliant episode. This is the most I've consistently enjoyed any wrestling show for a LONG time.
Paid Members theironshake Posted December 19, 2019 Paid Members Share Posted December 19, 2019 I haven't watched a show this regular since the early 2000s. I love everything about Power. Stu Bennett is easily better than Cornette. I'm really impressed. I'll happily pay for ppv every two months

The King of Old School
Just a note that NWA have tweeted out that this weeks show will be uploaded tonight instead of tomorrow.
Moderators PowerButchi Posted December 24, 2019 Moderators Share Posted December 24, 2019 I fucking love you Tim Storm. What a promo this week.
Paid Members FLips Posted December 24, 2019 Paid Members Share Posted December 24, 2019 What an outright fun episode. Tim Storm is the man. Couldn’t take my eyes off poor Royce Isaacs looking down at his script every three seconds. Probably a reason he’s had little mic time so far. MEGABUCKS
Tim Storm is the most likeable wrestler ever!
