If I remember Konnan joined the Dungeon after he lost the US title to Ric Flair, they were feuding with the Horseman at the time.

It just hit me again that The Headbangers had a sort of run with WWE last year. The fucking Headbangers! I can't imagine the conversations in the writers room that led to that. Presumably they were trying to think of nostalgic tag teams that are still both alive and able to actually move a bit which off the top of my head is a very narrow category.

Too Right they were! The headbangers were always shit. At least Too Cool were over like gangbusters in their day and could go when the occassion called for it.

I can't believe the last UK PPV was 2003... I'm not one of these that goes on about a UK Wrestlemania as most fanboys do, but I do think that surely WWE know a UK PPV is long overdue and would massively boost their merch and ticket sales, as well as give them an ass load of money. I just don't know why they don't do something. Maybe they will soon as they have started getting invovled in UK talent and shows, as well as the UK championship

I think the takeover and the title tournament was the best we will get to be honest. Won't get a main show PPV unless business really starts going in the toilet I feel.

India or Australia haven't had PPV's either and they're both huge markets. Same with Japan too of imagine.

 

It's got to be the time aspect that puts them off.

You might get the odd "network special" like they did in Japan the other year over here, other than that it will just be live Raw's and Smackdowns a couple of times a year.

 

We don't get a bad deal to be fair.
