Using boxing as a comparison point, they'd really struggle to sell it to anyone but locals, no matter how big the event; they'd still have to stuff it with comps and the audience would STILL only turn up for the main event.

Yeah I agree, but I think the point was it’s not only Americans that go to Wrestlemania, people come from all over.

Any move to put Mania in Saudi would be for one reason only.

I’m a casual and Smackdown house show tickets were £90 a pop before fees. Even at a stone’s throw from my house I scoffed at it. If I looked at the Wrestlemania prices I’d have an aneurysm.

Poor old Papa H. He clearly finds these Saudi shows a massive inconvenience as he plots out his master plan on the road to Wrestlemania.

A hilarious way to crown the first two ever SUPER DUPER UBER CHAMPIONS OF THE KNOWN UNIVERSE; a hooky finish and a roll-up.

The Bloodline stuff was alright until Jimmy mistimed the save on the pin and then that sort of flattened the crowd and from there the timing was all over the place. Absolutely didn't need the tension within the Goodline turning into dissension already, rolled my eyes when Sami kicked Roman's head off.

In short, WWE is very good at the minute but that show was pretty poor.

I enjoyed the main event until the finish, but the fans were a bit weird. Clearly bored one minute, flashing their phones and doing the Mexican wave, and then chanting THIS IS AWESOME the next.

I still can't work out why Piper Niven started climbing the turnbuckle before the finish, either.

One to forget.

I disagree. One minor annoyance I always had about wrestling was hated enemies suddenly acting like nothing happened.
It's natural all these guys would have trust issues and personality clashes and it adds a few more twists and turns.

I'm more than happy with tension, but that should be them working out old wrinkles... not having to deal with whether Sami deliberately kicked Roman or not. I don't need new wrinkles.

For a brief moment, I actually thought Sami might turn.

The Sami stuff was great. He turned up and got the awesome pop. He could've done with Heenan asking which side he was on. They've played the tension and the unknown really well, especially with Jey and Sami. It's how it should be. Plus giving reasons for Roman to potentially not trust them either. And allowing Solo to take advantage too.

It's all necessary in making the new Bloodline seem legitimate enough to make it a contest at War Games against a team that aren't completely together. Otherwise it's a foregone conclusion. Although if the new Bloodline can win without Tonga Loa officially competing, imagine how powerful they're going to be at Survivor Series! Poor OGB don't stand a chance!

I only tuned in for the Bloodline Bullshit and I got everything I wanted. Rubbish match. Utterly fantastic post-match nonsense.

You know that magic they always pretended Cena and Orton had, but it never really worked and always got crap reactions? Roman actually has that magic. Twice. With both Cody and Sami.

Phenomenal. I loved it all. The pop. The tease of him turning heel. Him launching Solo into space. How ridiculously violent the spot was when he accidentally hit Roman. And most of all, how he didn’t give a flying fuck afterwards. Couple of years ago he’d have been panicking and scared of the consequences after screwing up, but not now. A new man. A better man. Soz, not soz.

Bonus points for Tanga Loa being shit again. Couldn’t even figure out how to put Jey Uso into the corner. I cannot wait to see him try and perform a War Games match.

Only downside was Corey Graves’ meta, snide remark about Sami always, “virtue signalling.” Fuck off, Graves.

I thought after all the times Sami has tried to say things on socials and had to remove them, I think as delighted to see him wearing a traditional scarf from Palestine, and then heard this

 

haven’t seen the show, I caught the last couple of minutes of this as I was getting ready to go out and was happy to see Sami come out for the save. The last storyline I enjoyed in the WWE, maybe I’ll be up for Wargames/Survivor Series after all.

Absolutely loved most of the Bloodline story, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't feel like this reunion thing has all felt a bit rushed. I might be in the minority on here but to me it's like they only just realised a few weeks ago that War Games is coming up and that they better start getting the band back together rather than the long term storytelling we've had previously.   

It's not so much them being on the same page, as they're obviously not fully there yet and I'm assuming it will take Heyman to do that completely, but it's just the speed in which they've got Jey and Sami involved in it again. I feel like it should've been weeks of Jimmy trying to convince Jey to help them and then the same with Jey trying to convince Sami before these big save angles, instead of Sami just being brought back into it on RAW and doing what he did tonight for example.
