Fairly sure most people buying it did so because they wanted golden syrup, not because Abram Lyle was a Bible-basher. I'm atheist, and I put the stuff in my porridge or Weetabix because I've a sweet-tooth; I don't feel holier for it (though my teeth could end up that way if I'm not careful). MungoChutney Posted February 21 Share Posted February 21 TIL, that when moving into the middle lane to overtake on a motorway, there is no requirement to indicate when returning to the left hand lane.
