King Pitcos
Surely Gyllenhall's character isn't anywhere near as autistic as the man in Drive?
Paid Members Scott Malbranque Posted November 5, 2014 Paid Members Share Posted November 5, 2014 Probably more so. This is more akin to aspergers than regressive.
WyattSheepMask
Watched Shame the other night on channel4, which was delightfully grim. Michael Fassbender was good as he usually is, and Carey Mulligan didn't feature as much I thought she might do which I was happy with.
Paid Members Thunderplex Posted November 5, 2014 Paid Members Share Posted November 5, 2014 I saw Shame too. I'm not a gay man, but even I have to be impressed at the size of Fassbenders love-length. It's a fucking monster
WyattSheepMask
I figured that it would make a cheeky appearance at some point, but was suprised that it was flapping about in the first few minutes. Â I'm not a gay man either, but there's defiantly a man crush going on with Fassbender. And I still won't accept anyone else when James Bond gets recast
LEGIT
I watched the Nightcrawler the other day. I thought it would be really good, and it's got great reviews, but I didn't enjoy it. The acting was good, but I found it quite predictable. Gyllenhaal plays a pretty loathsome character, and I don't want to spoil the movie, but it just didn't go the way I wanted. It was okay, but a disappointment IMO. Â On the other hand, I watched Fury today. It was better than expected. Great acting by all the lads, it's quite violent and grim at times, but that's war. It played out the bonding of the troops very well. I enjoyed it.
Refused
I saw Shame too. I'm not a gay man, but even I have to be impressed at the size of Fassbenders love-length. It's a fucking monster  It really isn't fair, is it? Brilliant acting talent, and a right big cock to boot.
Slapnut
While I enjoyed Nightcrawler, it totally wasn't what I expected. The trailer made it seem like something of a mystery-thriller with lots of twists and swerves, so I too was a little disappointed with how predictable it was. Gyllenhaal is really good in it though, very entertaining character.
