In some extremely minor but surprising news Impact managed to break into the 5Spike Top 10, at number 4 no less, for the week ending 14th January with 143,000 viewers. Austin Aries = ratings apparently, even though people mistakenly tuned in for a debut that happens next week.

What 3 shows came above it out of interest?

An old war film at No.1 with 187,000, which is pretty standard for this channel. It's always a Statham movie or an old war film from some afternoon. World's Wildest Weather at 2 (again if it's not Police Interceptors it's some disaster footage related show), and the awesome Spartacus show at 3 with 167,000.

If true its like Impacts version of the Ravens leaving the Tower of London...

There's also a discussion on the minor news thread but its hard not to agree with that analogy, sadly.....

It's true. When you see just how much work Borash does for that company, you have to think that losing him is disastrous for them. Not going to do the usual and predict TNA's death within 12 months, but I definitely wouldn't be surprised if Borash was the one holding everything together all this time, and that him going is the final nail in the coffin.

We'll be chatting with Ed Nordholm, Scott D’Amore and Don Callis tomorrow for the mag if anyone has any questions we can try to ask?

Who do they think would win in a fight between a badger and a baboon?

Failing that, if they could bring back 1 wrestler from their past who would it be?

Jeff Jarrett said last spring that a 5 year plan was in place to revive impact - has this been abandoned with the departure of Jeff and new plans drawn up?

What are the long term goals for the company -?

When did they know Jeremy Borash was leaving
