Paid Members PunkStep Posted January 1, 2017 Paid Members Share Posted January 1, 2017 Having a new monster on the scene would really freshen things up, but instead we get a slimmer Big Show. Â Â Braun Strowman?

You repeated the joke that had already been made in the first place, that nobody reacted to either time, but you weren't trying to be funny? Dudley Eastbank
£6 to see the Michinoku Pro 6-man? Bargain!  Odd booking for All-Star though. Anybody know the story behind how/why this happened. I remember seeing photographs of this in PowerSlam at the time. It's funny that All-Star were ahead of the curve, getting these guys the year before either ECW or WWF.Is there any footage from any of these matches around? It's the sort of thing someone might think to sneak a camcorder into.
Paid Members JNLister Posted January 2, 2017 Paid Members Share Posted January 2, 2017 There was an official Michinoku Pro video with the match in full, plus highlights of the previous night in Portsmouth (Danny Collins-Sasuke among others). There was also an unofficial video by Ross Hutchinson at Suckerpunch which had a camcorder (from front row) of the match plus an interview with Sasuke. Â Don't remember the precise details, but I believe a Michinoku office guy called Hiroshi Arai was over here for some reason and pitched the idea of them flying over to do the matches on All Star shows to create something interesting for the Japanese magazines.
