Trussell Trust have already endorsed it, bless 'em. The most egregious part was that I wanted the end segment to play out with just a link to Trussell Trust and nothing else, but YouTube doesn't allow you to have an external link by itself on those end frames. So I have to link back to another video and look self serving in the process. Oh well. Edited December 1, 2023 by Onyx2
Paid Members Gus Mears Posted December 1, 2023 Paid Members Share Posted December 1, 2023 First quiet weekend in a while and it's going to be a cooky one. Starting it off with turkey meatballs with a tomato saffron sauce, roasted chickpeas and cavolo nero with garlic.
Paid Members Gus Mears Posted December 2, 2023 Paid Members Share Posted December 2, 2023 Parmesan polenta with an beef stew somewhere between a peposo (tuscan beef and pepper stew) and a more traditional one. Delighted with the results and will definitely cook it this style again.
Paid Members Carbomb Posted December 3, 2023 Paid Members Share Posted December 3, 2023 I've been wanting to try to make peposo ever since I saw Chef John's recipe on Food Wishes.
Paid Members Gus Mears Posted December 3, 2023 Paid Members Share Posted December 3, 2023 I love the traditional version, it's definitely worth cooking. Mrs Mears finds the peppery flavour a bit much, so added a few things like chicken stock, mirepioux and butter at the end to soften it.
