Paid Members PunkStep Posted June 3, 2017 Paid Members Share Posted June 3, 2017 I noticed a poster in the background on a backstage segment this week that WWE have done a film with The Jetsons. The Jetsons! Scooby Doo I can understand, there's been the odd successful relaunch over the past 10 years or so. But The Jetsons??
Merzbow
Is that the car race one? I saw Wrestling With Wregret review them a bunch of the WWE animated films, that one looked the most mental indeed. The Jetsons one makes no sense at all seeing as the franchise was untouched for years before it, Big Show has too much time in it too. The funniest thing about these is seeing someone like CM Punk voice acting in them, he seems like someone who'd fucking hate doing it. WyattSheepMask
As they've done ones with Scooby Doo, The Flintstones and now The Jetsons, I'd assume it's whoever owns the right to those (and the other Hanna Barbera properties) that decide what gets used, but yeah The Jetsons is an odd one. Im still waiting for the Hong Kong Phooey one where he shows Dolph Ziggler how to do a decent Superkick
HeavyT
They've also done a sequel to the moderately well known CGI film Surf's Up. I dunno why they've decided on crossing over with any kids property they can but I guess it doesn't hurt them

I'd pay good money for a WWE Wacky Races film.Ā
Merzbow
Dick Dastardly would be the best heel they've had in years.
Daaaaaad!
That Scooby Doo film from this morning had a touch of the Wacky Races about it, albeit not quite as comedic. It's like if they did Wacky Races but took all the fun and comedy out of it.
