Omega, Young Bucks) Thu 13 Apr - RevPro, London (feat. Omega, Young Bucks, Shibata, KUSHIDA) Fri 14 Apr - Fight Club: PRO, Wolverhampton (feat. Omega, Bucks, Pentagon, Fenix, Jack Evans, Angelico, Sami Callihan, Dunne, Seven, Bate, Scurll, Sabre, Haskins, etc.) Sat 15 Apr - OTT, Dublin (feat. Omega, Bucks, etc.) Sat 15 Apr - Fight Club: PRO, Manchester (feat. Pentagon, Fenix, Callihan, Angelico, Evans) Sun 16 Apr - Fight Club: PRO, London Mon 17 Apr - IPW:UK Supershow 8, Rochester (Pentagon, Fenix, Jimmy Havoc, Sabre) Mon 17 Apr - Lucha Forever debut show, Birmingham (Ricochet, Dunne, Ospreay)

Jon-Carr_92
WCPW have The SuperKliq in addition to Cody Rhodes next month. I shudder to think of the Pacitti Club jokes while they're there.

Paid Members Jazzy G Posted February 17, 2017 Paid Members Share Posted February 17, 2017 Tammy Sytch has posted on her Facebook and a couple of the 'sheets are reporting that George "The Animal Steele" has now passed passed away. That's a shame, he'd only gone into hospice care in the last couple of days.
Paid Members Gus Mears Posted February 17, 2017 Paid Members Share Posted February 17, 2017 (edited) Bit more on the Steele death from Big Dave's lot.   The wrestling world got some sad news Friday morning as it was learned George "The Animal" Steele died Thursday night at the age of 79 years old. Dave Meltzer reported Thursday that Steele (real name Jim Myers) was in hospice care. Dave will have more information and his usual background and bio up in this space shortly. Steele enjoyed a 20+ year career, gaining his largest mainstream fame in the WWF in the 1980s, playing the role of a slightly deranged, yet fun loving character that ate turnbuckles and had a green tongue. Originally a heel, he battled top stars like WWWF Champion Bruno Sammartino, Pedro Morales, and Bob Backlund as his run began in the promotion in 1967. One of his most notable feuds was with Randy Savage as Steele had fallen for his valet, Elizabeth. The rivalry played out on Saturday Night's Main Event with Savage eventually coming out on top. Steele made infrequent appearances for WWE over the years and also made stops for TV appearances in TNA and WCW. Steele notably made it to the silver screen in 1994, playing Tor Johnson in Tim Burton's Ed Wood. He leaves behind a wife and three children. Paid Members IANdrewDiceClay Posted February 17, 2017 Paid Members Share Posted February 17, 2017 If this was 1996, he'd have had the whole episode of Raw dedicated to him as a tribute. He was one of the biggest stars ever, when they were pissed off with everyone. Remember that period in the mid-90s when Hogan, Flair, Dusty, Savage and the likes were all working elsewhere and they had yet created super names like Austin and Rock, and also, they didnt want to make Undertaker, Bret and Shawn sound old so they'd be on TV talking about Jay Strongbow, Ivan Putski and George Steele as these mythical wrestlers. Â Good age for a wrestler, though. 79. Especially when Matt Taven almost killed him
Mr.E
My major memory of him was from the Legends Vs Jeff Jarrett match in WCW, George Steele turned up, did his schtick, leading into Jimmy Snuka splashing Jarrett as well. From there I went back and saw his stuff with Macho, from all those years ago. Â What was the deal with WM3, was Steele supposed to be in that match with Savage?
