Paid Members Kaz Hayashi Posted March 25, 2019 Paid Members Share Posted March 25, 2019 (edited) I succumbed to an unboxing vid, specifically in relating to a full shop case of Funko Mystery Mini Figs (mini funkos, in a black bag, in a box... mysterious). There’s 12 figures in the series, there’s 12 figures boxes in a case, is it possible to complete the set with 1 case? That’s the challenge. Oh and it probs goes without saying, these will be added to the prize pot, for our canny big free to enter competition, mentioned in our pinned tweet: @GrappleArcade The vid:  Edited March 25, 2019 by Kaz Hayashi
Paid Members IANdrewDiceClay Posted April 4, 2019 Paid Members Share Posted April 4, 2019 Finally, the reason why these retro figures were made in the first place. Re-writing the wrongs of the past.
Paid Members BigJag Posted April 5, 2019 Paid Members Share Posted April 5, 2019 Not sure about the head sculpt. Looks a a little strange. I like the chunky body look. It overall has a charm that this line has lacked. Have they proportioned it to be taller than say Shawn Michaels figure?

Paid Members Accident Prone Posted April 5, 2019 Paid Members Share Posted April 5, 2019 That looks no better than the Diesel knock-off I got for a quid from the local corner shop when I was a kid. The fake Razor though looked more like Danny Devito with a wig.

Paid Members Kaz Hayashi Posted April 8, 2019 Paid Members Share Posted April 8, 2019 It seems these have been in hiding for 46 years. Titanes en el Ring figures from 1973. Came in chocolate and made by Felfort. They apparently had tonnes of merch, most of which is unlikely to have been seen by Europeans. Some interesting info here as posted on the WFigs site (easy to c&p from Spanish using translate). It talks about the rarities of each wave/range. eljuguetionista.blogspot.com/2012/08/titanes-en-el-ring-primera-serie-1973.html?m=1eljuguetionista.blogspot.com/2013/08/titanes-en-el-ring-primera-serie-1973.html?m=

Paid Members Cod Eye Posted May 4, 2019 Paid Members Share Posted May 4, 2019 Some really good likenesses there. How do they do it with the heads/faces? Do they mould them themselves, or take ready made ones from other figures and add clay or some shit to make their features?
Paid Members Arch Stanton Posted May 4, 2019 Paid Members Share Posted May 4, 2019 That's some crazy dedication to such a niche. Some of the best looking customs I've seen.

Paid Members Kaz Hayashi Posted May 7, 2019 Paid Members Share Posted May 7, 2019 (edited) We decided to do an ECW wrestling figure special. We look at each figure from the original OSFTM line and discuss follow up series with ECW stars in other companies, along with unreleased prototypes. We also discuss other ECW merch, including the horrific computer games! We’re joined by our new broadcast journalist and ECW golden tongue... Joel Gertner. There’s also a cameo from the King of Old School, Steve Corino. Here’s the video link: And here’s a link to our general Twitter post. We’ll more than likely be announcing an ECW competition soon! https://mobile.twitter.com/grapplearcade/status/1125684755192741888 Also, we always appreciate a follow, like & a sub on YT etc. We’ve plenty of fun things in the pipeline, in video form, podcasts and live events. cheers all👍 Edited May 7, 2019 by Kaz Hayashi
