WyattSheepMask Posted July 8, 2016 Posted July 8, 2016 We've started with Outcast. It's not really grabbed me so far, but I'm going to stick with it a little longer Quote
Paid Members Bellenda Carlisle Posted July 21, 2016 Author Paid Members Posted July 21, 2016 (edited) I've been waiting with bated breath for a picture of Peter Serafinowicz as the Tick, unfortunately I've got to say I'm not as into the look as I hoped. Edited July 21, 2016 by Call me Bellend Quote
Polish Dad Posted July 22, 2016 Posted July 22, 2016 That's shocking. Way worse than Warburton's cracking run on the show. Quote
Moderators Chest Rockwell Posted July 22, 2016 Moderators Posted July 22, 2016 They both look pretty similar to me. That live action Tick show with Putty in it was terrible anyway. Quote
Paid Members lambyUK Posted July 22, 2016 Paid Members Posted July 22, 2016 Based on the source material, I'm not sure what people expect? Looks about as good as you can get. Quote
Polish Dad Posted July 22, 2016 Posted July 22, 2016 I think mostly I hate the headpiece, with it looking like something an amateur cosplayer would make, over Warburton's swanky one-piece. Quote
Paid Members Bellenda Carlisle Posted July 22, 2016 Author Paid Members Posted July 22, 2016 I think white eyes would've made a huge difference, he looks like a saggy faced Englishman with wonky eyes- the face holes are a terrible cut. Patrick Warburton basically is the Tick though, it would have been hard pressed to look better than him. Quote
DJM Posted July 23, 2016 Posted July 23, 2016 Wonder Woman Trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5lGoQhFb4NM Justice League Trailer (Comic-Con Footage): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gglkYMGRYlE A lot on here will probably hate them, but I really like the look of both films from the trailers. The Flash outfit is different and will take some getting used to, but everything else looks fine. Quote
WyattSheepMask Posted July 23, 2016 Posted July 23, 2016 Christ, I didn't realise they'd actually started filming Justice League let alone have a trailer ready. Also didn't realise that Roman Reigns was Aquaman Quote
Merzbow Posted July 23, 2016 Posted July 23, 2016 That Tick costume is giving me Wes Anderson vibes and I don't know why, although, I guess it is a bit "art film" like. Quote
Guest Posted July 24, 2016 Posted July 24, 2016 Is there anywhere to get decent sdcc updates and pictures, that isn't three page articles just to see one picture of interest? Quote
Paid Members quote the raven Posted July 24, 2016 Paid Members Posted July 24, 2016 So we have gone from killing, people hating, dark as fuck batman. Crazy joke telling uncle Bruce. Not sure at all Quote
Awards Moderator HarmonicGenerator Posted July 24, 2016 Awards Moderator Posted July 24, 2016 (edited) I actually did like it, if only for the reason it looks like it's not going to be relentlessly grim! Not keen on the Wonder Woman one at all, though. WW herself looks good, but I'm not sure about the World War I content. In light of the recent Somme centenary commemorations and everything, a scantily clad superhero just popping over the top and marching through No Man's Land without any harm done to her just doesn't sit right with me. Had a bit of a Psylocke-in-Auschwitz vibe to it (albeit not nearly as stupid as that scene in X-Men). The new Lego Batman trailer, however. That one's been the best trailer of the weekend by far! Paid Members BigJag Posted July 24, 2016 Paid Members Posted July 24, 2016 The Batman costume looked terrible. What's with the mesh/chainmail effect? Looking forward to both films. Affleck makes a better Bruce Wayne than Batman. Quote
