(Those who went to Rush's Time Machine tour last year may remember the Segel/Rudd characters from the film making an on-screen cameo at the end of the gig. I really like the guy and want his films to be good, but for the most part they suck. I Love You, Man is appaling. That said, Role Models was fantastic.

I can't imagine anyone liking Paul Rudd (or any modern comedy films or actors at all) if they don't like any of Anchorman, The 40 Year Old Virgin, Knocked Up, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Role Models or I Love You, Man.

Wow, she is fucking tasty. I’d do some despicable things to her. Everything you do is despicable. Anyway. Her character is a total bitch in the film.. I think that the awards season was spot on, with just one ensemble nomination and one young actor award nomination, unless I'm missing anything. The actors generally seem to be on autopilot, and I think that the film deliberately undercut expectations with its subject matter and outcome. It is, however, absolutely gorgeous, like the prettiest Ghibli cartoon come to life.

I thought Our Idiot Brother would make some sort of impact but I can't recall much of the film after being scarred with a Steve Coogan naked scene. Last watched Elektra Luxx which was not at all as I thought it'd be. A really interesting plot with Carla Gugino absolutely fantastic as the former porn star dealing with life after the movies. Sadly I didn't realise that it was a sequel....

But as I've said before, he really needs to take more chances with his film roles. He's good enough, but he always seems to take safe roles. He was also, as far as I'm concerned, a really great addition to the Friends cast. He really revitalised it and added an extra dimension to it in its latter stages. All the others they added to the cast for a few shows were terrible, aside from Tom Selleck. But he was excellent.
