Paid Members PunkStep Posted December 8, 2014 Paid Members Share Posted December 8, 2014 One of my favourite episodes is from season 4 called Guy's Night (Episode 9) Yep, my favourite one I've seen so far. If only for Party All The Time! Me and my boy have adopted saying 'GUUUUUYS NIIIIIGHT' whenever we kick the girls out for the evening.
Paid Members Bellenda Carlisle Posted December 8, 2014 Paid Members Share Posted December 8, 2014 Have got Party Down downloaded and ready to watch this week in the hotel room. You'll love it man, it's got the best people from loads of other stuff in it, Ron is awesome, let me know what you think.
Paid Members Maverick Posted December 8, 2014 Paid Members Share Posted December 8, 2014 I'm a big fan of Party Down too, Scott and Ken Marino are great but it's a great cast, suffers abit when Mullally replaces Jane Lynch. Some great recurring characters.
Paid Members Scott Malbranque Posted December 10, 2014 Paid Members Share Posted December 10, 2014 Sons of Anarchy spoiler so Jax died. That was a waste of seven seasons and of my time   Also, this was fucking brilliant. I don't like X-Factor but the missus does and this really caught my eye to the point, I rewound it about seven times:

Might have to check out the finale though just so I can enjoy watching Charlie Hunnam get killed
Undefeated Steak
I haven't seen any of the X Factor this year but the TV was on in the background when I was making tea the other night and that was on. Stopped what I was doing to watch it, it was incredible.
WyattSheepMask
They've brought the release of Uptown Funk forward 5 weeks as this version was near the top of iTunes. Wife watches it and I see it when I take my eyes of whatever I'm reading. Even by X Factor standards this year seems to have been truely terrible. Some 8 member boyband, some guy who looks like he has Crouzon syndrome, a stageschool brat who keeps gfetting a dancing gig for her stageschool brother and some guy who ended on I'm A Celebrity who couldn't carry a tune if you gave him a bucket who'd failed in some past series Edited December 10, 2014 by WyattSheepMask
Paid Members SpursRiot2012 Posted December 10, 2014 Paid Members Share Posted December 10, 2014 Could of "Should I Watch?" ones here: Â Babylon (Channel 4) Toast Of London (also Channel 4) Â Any good?
Paid Members Maverick Posted December 10, 2014 Paid Members Share Posted December 10, 2014 Toast of London is class, if you like Matt Berry you'll love it. Bit of surreal humor, it's a weird show but I enjoy it. Hoping for a third series.

I don't like X-Factor but the missus does and this really caught my eye to the point, I rewound it about seven times:  Wow, absolute superstar. That was a sensational performance. Is she normally that good? If so, she should win it. And then release a dull ballad with an obligatory key change to get Xmas number 1.

burchybabi
Definitely agree about Toast Of London, still have the last 2 episodes of series 2 to watch. Also it was announced on Monday that series 3 has already been commissioned so it should hopefully be on around the same time next year
Paid Members Nexus Posted December 10, 2014 Paid Members Share Posted December 10, 2014 (edited) SoA spoilers for the entire last season:   Any other result would've been a massive cop-out, to be fair.  Was pissed off about him killing Unser last week, so didn't give a shit about what happened to him after that.  Bobby's death earlier in the season was gutting.  Edited December 10, 2014 by Nexus
Metallica
Is season 2 of Toast of London better than the first? Â I loved the first episode of s1 with the psycho girlfriend and the hoarder but the other episodes didn't really amuse me as much.
Ars
SoA Â Â That finale really didn't pack a punch, and its a shame because there have been so many good moments throughout the show, but it peaked for me when Opie was killed, that was one of the most powerful and shocking moments. But I'm glad its all wrapped up now. I didn't like the whole flying and running into the truck thing, it just went too overboard with symbolism and book ending. I'd still recommend it as a show though. Â
