RancidPunx
Don't expect for anyone to really know this but............ Â Â Does anybody remember a coliseum home video of some european tour in 1990. I think it may have been filmed in either paris or milan. I remember Bret Hart was on the card and it also featured a short but cool enough glass tunnel entrance way. Â For the life of me i can't remember what the video was called. Â Any ideas? Paid Members Arch Stanton Posted November 16, 2014 Paid Members Share Posted November 16, 2014 (edited) Sounds like it could be WWF World Tour 1990, which had a couple of matches from Paris on it and a Bret Hart match from London. Â Check out the Coliseum catalogue here:Â http://www.prowrestlinghistory.com/videos/wwf/catalogue/coliseum.html Edited November 16, 2014 by Arch Stanton

It was The World Tour 89/90. Had Bret vs Dino Bravo is a really boring match. It's referenced in Bret's book as he fucked his back up in it. Thw tunnel was in Paris and I think it was a Savage vs Hogan match.

Undefeated Steak
Where did this "WRESTLING!" shout that British crowds do these days come from? Â It's fucking awful, isn't it? I don't know why but I can't stand it.
Refused
I've heard it on a few US indies, although that tends to be after a sequence of chain wrestling so it at least makes some sort of sense. Seems Brit crowds do it whenever it takes their fancy.
WyattSheepMask
It's the eqivalant of the 'Buttscratcher!' Shout at festivals. No rhyme or reason for it (I know that Buttscratcher is a Family Guy reference) but it's usually just done for people to amuse themselves. If your not shouting/chanting random shit at wrestling shows these days, it seems that your doing it wrong
Undefeated Steak
I was on the train on my way back home after a training session and there was a nob from the group sat next to me, talking out loud, telling me how he couldn't wait to get his latex costume made and start making a name for himself. It was one of the late evening trains so by this point everybody else around us is quiet and listening in to what he was saying. All I could do was stare out the corner of the window as I felt my face burning up. Â He was one of those lads who had no self awareness whatsoever. He just kept going on and on and on. "I've thought of this move where I grab his ankle and pull it behind his head. Let me show you a picture of this latex costume. I might wear a mask when I enter the ring." Â The reason for this story is because this is somebody who tried getting "wrestling" chants going whenever he could, no matter where he was. It's who I associate the chants with. He was also one of the reasons why I stopped training.
WyattSheepMask
Latex costume with a mask? So he wanted to be a gimp essentially
neil is brill
Jesus, I remember when I bought my wrestling tights and the company name "Spandex Sensations" showed on my bank statement. Nobody saw it but it was still a bit cringeworthy. It's nothing on having some gimp banging on about latex and pulling my ankles behind my head though.
