There were spotlight logos everywhere! Diesel was a regular singles wrestler and had managed to already win the Intercontinental belt! The Headshrinkers were goodies! Bret had new music!… actually, that took me a little while to warm to. But the show seemed to be a bit “newer.” Well, Rowdy Roddy Piper was on last, Gorilla was back on commentary and the Anvil turned up, but you know, swings and roundabouts.

What @LaGooshsays, even for Jericho's inconsistencies, the Painmaker is a fucking dreadful idea. Well not a dreadful idea, he's just weirdly put no effort into what makes that aspect of him different. Even the look, just a bit of eye makeup that looks horrific. It screams of something he'd always wanted to do because The Great Muta or someone had an alter-ego and thought it was the biz, saw how shit it looked and just couldn't admit it to himself. This looks great for something so simple and low budget, it's creepy, it's got a great concept and had me pointing at the screen and shouting "FOR FUCKS SAKE DON'T GO IN THERE" out loud a couple of times. Did anyone bother with Hunted this year? Some interesting contestants this time around. The posh boys were entertaining to watch. Obviously ACAB and you want everyone to avoid capture but (series ending spoilers) It’s staged and edited to fuck with some glaring inconsistencies but it’s always good value.

Scoop - The interview part was very entertaining and the makeup effects on Sewell and Anderson are incredible, but when the original interview exists and is readily available, I'm not really sure we need a dramatization of it? Everything to do with Kong and/or Dan Stevens was wildly entertaining, everything to do with Rebecca Hall and her daughter was quite boring and I veered between entertained and bored from scene to scene. I love Brian Tyree Henry but his role in these movies makes my teeth itch, just the absolute worst 'comic relief'. That's all I managed to catch this week. Had that Really Bad Shits bug going around so the only thing I've been watching is the bathroom wall. Hoping to finally catch Immaculate and a few others next week!

I know I shouldn't approach this as a "rap fan" critiquing, but fuck it, he's rapping so why not. Thatt was absolutely dreadful. Awful lyrics, metaphors, similies and a delivery that can only be described as a copy of about 20 other rappers. -5 mics. Its actually made me angry.

what stood out about that rap was that Bowens was clearly meant to snatch the mic away from him before the last word, and cut him off way too late. It was shit, though, and Max Caster is in Ricky Starks territory of looking like he'd rather be anywhere else, and his raps get worse every week.

I think you've taken a throwaway line and kinda took it seriously and a Wrestling discussion isn't really the place to discuss politics, but you can throw stats around all you like, London is in a really bad state in lots of ways and Khan has done fuck all to address it.
