Paid Members Jazzy G Posted October 16 Paid Members Posted October 16 They were really nice yoghurts as well. I don't like how they package mince now in supermarkets, particularly the more budget friendly stuff. I get that it's cheaper, but it's just a slab of mush and it's such a ballache to try and separate it out when I'm trying to do a chilli or bolognaise etc. Quote

I get irrationally jealous that American manufacturers sell cream in the same things we get milk in. Those paper thin flappy lids are pointless and spilt more than I care to admit. Quote
Paid Members tiger_rick Posted October 16 Paid Members Posted October 16 Daft how there's such a convention for cans and tins and yet anything in a tub, carton or bottle is different shapes and sizes and has all many of shitty lids and flaps. Those stupid little catch things on Orange Juice cartons are awful and the little inner lid thing on plastic milk bottles that fails to come off cleanly 99% of the time can get to fuck too. Lets get some standards and a proper bloody spout! Quote

Paid Members Scratch Posted October 17 Paid Members Posted October 17 (edited) I would like to see peanut butter, Nutella, basically anything that usually comes in a pot with a screw lid, to come in a tub like butters and spreads do. It would make getting the last bits out so much easier. Edited October 17 by Scratch Quote

Big wins for the 10 seconds it takes to seperate it all. Quote

Paid Members tiger_rick Posted October 17 Paid Members Posted October 17 If you have a Heron, they do a knock off Nutella, Biscoff spread and peanut butter that come in a plastic tub like Philadelphia cheese does. Cheaper and convenient. Quote

Browser Brady Posted October 17 Posted October 17 (edited) Definitely going to go full Partridge here. Traffic light labelling system for recycling household waste . To make it easier to sort with just a quick glance . Green = Ok to recycle as is. Amber = Some attention is needed, consult packaging instructions. Such as removing the lid off a tube of Pringles for example. Red = Cannot be recycled. Once products are actually produced with this labelling system then you can track what companies are making the most “Green” or “Red” products and you could actually publish some sort of league table showing who is producing the most products that are easier to recycle and who is not… Edited October 18 by Browser Brady Quote
