You'd be amazed at how often I think about these times all these years later.  Group games of Inklink, Flipside TV marathons (including pre-wrong 'un Justin Lee Collins) on Channel 4, getting k-lined for trolling other chat rooms, the excitement of when Raw actually started airing live on Sky.  I think there was a year of my (jobless) life where I never went to bed before daylight thanks to this place.  Fantastic times right before I had to get a proper adult life and social media destroyed the internet/world.  I love that this place is still a tangible link to that part of my life when it's so long ago now and so many things in the real world have disappeared during that time.  Here's to the next 25!

Got so many laughs out of people on here. Learned a lot, too. This place has and had so many decent, fun and clever posters. I'm delighted its still around. I smile when I see Butch return, Devon Malcolm and Alex Wright Mark posting. Knowing they're good people "in real life." Something about not seeing someone post in ages and their username popping up that thrills me.

Ive spent most of my tenure reading and lurking but I come here everyday as a nice space to read 'socially' where I dont get the burden of facebook, instagram and other platforms and enjoy it immensely

I was a user of the forum prior to 2001, when it was a lot more basic in appearance and a lot less colourful. I also remember arguing with Mo Chatra a lot, for reasons probably lost to the sands of time. In any case, 25 years! Wow!

Does anyone have any screenshots of what it looked like prior to 2001? I would love to see them if so!

I lurked here for many years before eventually signing up. Off memory, it would have been 2002 when I was 15.

I remember the wrasslinedge.com/ukff domain from the summer of 2001 as it was advertised in Powerslam, and thus my introduction to this place. The trusty Wayback Machine wasn’t much help with that really as this was all I could find 😐

Edit: in response to Roy above re old screenshots. If anyone remembers any more specific URLs, might be worth chucking them into the Wayback to see what’s there.

I remember somebody told me about UKFF at a show in Coventry in late 2000. From what I remember, it was the result of a "merger" of sorts between several existing forums.

Quick glance of my profile shows that I’ll have been a member on here 23 years on November 22nd which means I was a sprightly 18 when I signed up, holy Jesus 

This in turn makes this place the longest surviving form of social media I’ve been on since the age of the web so thanks everyone for keeping the gaff so damn entertaining all these years

I'm gonna need the intel on the first one. Was that, and please excuse me for maybe getting this incorrect, but is it to do with the turn of phrase "lovely pillows?"

Lovely pillows was Boydy. He was from Kidderminster, so I always think of him whenever Morrissey sings “in a darkened underpass I thought Oh God my chance has come at last” in There Is A Light That Never Goes Out.
