I also don't think you need to have a 'headline act' for the Hall of Fame - induct those who deserve to be there, and if there's no one who feels appropriate to include, don't induct anyone at all. It probably is another topic as @BomberPat says, but I'd love to see Tony Schiavone get his due in any first class. Rebel too. That might open up suggestions that she would never have got in if not for her illness, but given that wrestling is pre-determined, the one very real thing you can reward is heroism; and the way she's approached her illness and diagnosis is exactly that. Call it something like the All-American Wrestling Classic and have the promotional artwork covered in the stars and stripes, promote it hard as the best wrestling in AMERICA. Get the supersized Dynamite in the middle of WM week involving the fallout from the PPV and announcing the Owen Tournaments. Collision is messed about with scheduling wise, if it happens at all. Both companies have the minor reboot after Mania with the usual WWE call-ups and AEW starting the Owen Tournaments. Quote

Hoping it's a little bit of a build to a future match but it came across as more of a genuine comment, have they ever had a one on one match? Could be gold. Quote

They had one in the Continental Classic two years ago. It was very good but also definitely not the PPV level match they have in them. Felt like a teaser rather than the full meal. Quote

Darby during his press conference talked about wanting the TNT open challenge back and Ospreay talked about having to earn the title shot. Even bringing up Eliminators for the first time in what feels like forever. The way we used to see those titles in a simpler time before the clutter of the All-Atlantic/International/Continental/Unified I've not seen this week's Dynamite but it could have been seen as foreshadowing to Moxley being the next challenger. Continuing a trend of secondary champions using their status to be a World Title challenger. Quote

I’m even more convinced that this was the best show I’ve ever seen. How the fuck can they top this? Poor Chad Gable and Ludwig Kaiser, legitimately in with a shout of winning match of the year before this happened, but how could anyone who has seen Omega/Ospreay vote for anything else. I know there’s subjectivity and we’re all entitled to our opinions, but this isn’t just the match of the year, it’s legitimately one of the best matches ever. You can - and I would - easily make the case for it. Also, after viewing it again,the DD/Brawling Birds match was better than I remembered. Quote

Every time there’s almost an apologetic nature to it. “I will always love WWE, but…” ”I wouldn’t normally waste my time watching AEW, however…” ”I’ve hate to give Tony Khan credit, but…” I genuinely find comfort in it. Even as a self-confessed lunatic who continues to watch and find enjoyment in WWE through thick and thin, at least I don’t treat and view it like an actual cult. Absolute nutters. ”Bless me Father Hunter, for I have sinned. Through gritted teeth, I unwillingly found enjoyment in Kenny Omega and Will Ospreay putting on one of the greatest matches of all time.” I assume for penance they’ll re-watch the HBK vs. Triple H Hell in a Cell match. Been very good to see. @RedTwoster One of my mutuals complained about Meltzers star rating for Kenny/Will saying how could anyone enjoy that spot fest over Grande/Grande, ignoring the fact that was also very spot heavy. So not everyone agrees. That said, seen a few pretty AEW negative accounts give the match its due. Quote

I just find it bizarre how many fans have been so indoctrinated by WWE and its grifters that they feel the need to apologise for enjoying it. On a more positive note, it’s nice to see Kenny Omega built up such an immunity to Tiger Driver 91s that he was now willing to take the Tiger Driver bump when a flat-back bump would have sufficed.
