Paid Members BomberPat Posted April 7 Paid Members Posted April 7 I haven't seen last week's Dynamite, but Jericho hasn't been missed at all in his absence, and there's not a single person in AEW I would want to see work with him. I think there's a lot of worth in a Cope & Christian retirement/nostalgia run, but Cope's instincts are dreadful and he has to position himself as the most important bad-ass in every segment he's in, rather than just letting the audience have fun seeing a team they have fond memories of, and it's dragging down Christian Cage, who was previously doing his career best work in AEW and has a much better sense of where his character fits in the pecking order. I'm dreading what happens if and when Jericho and C&C come into each other's orbit. Quote

I couldn't get the MyAEW app through Roku but I could download it on the Firestick and have tested it out and it seems to work fine. Incase anyone is interested, Amazon are currently selling Firesticks with a discount but it looks like that offer will end soon. Quote

Njpwworld (no longer works on Xbox browser, which was until now my main streaming device) and Wrestleuniverse apps, are also supported. Stardomworld doesn't have an app, but weirdly works pretty well through the built in Internet browser. Only had one instance of a video crashing, so far. Navigation isn't good though, especially if you want to check out a particular year, with the only work around that I could find being to manually type in the page address and bookmarking it for future use. Paid Members LaGoosh Posted April 9 Paid Members Posted April 9 (edited) Only watched the first half hour and it wasn't great: - bunch of rubbish looking guys from Japan turn up completely out of nowhere and they expect you to know who any of them are. - they expect you to know that Alex Windsor is Ospreay's partner despite this never having been acknowledged on screen at any point previously. - they all turn it up in suits for some reason. Were they on their way back from a wedding? - really low rent WWE-esque production. - Loads of big babyface spots except the fans don't know who any of these guys are so don't really react to them. - Excalibur announces that Kyle Fletcher is injured then they immediately go to Don Callis announcing that Fletcher is injured. Couldn't he have just let the segment do the work? - a decent match that didn't really do much for anyone involved and reheating Okada/Takeshita and Okada/Young Bucks stuff months too later after they've done barely anything with it was always going to be extremely hard work. Takeshita/Okada has been dragged out forever at this point. - commentary sounded absolutely knackered. - more flippy twats turn up to do even more dives. Think there's been about 15 dives in half an hour. Camera catches Okada just standing around doing nothing waiting for a flippy twat to jump on him. Hopefully the rest of the show is a bit better! In the initial press release it said available on Roku, so I cancelled Triller and signed up for MyAEW to find out that it's not on Roku actually. And like you say, AEW Plus arn't accepting new sign-ups. I'm not buying another device for the sole purpose of watching MyAEW, they can get fucked. I've been keeping an eye on happenings anyway and it doesn't look as if I'm missing a great deal. Them still not pulling the trigger on Okada/Takeshita is madness, they'd already made Takeshita look like the biggest mug on the roster though so I'm not surprised. Quote
